Story
We found him under a highway bridge here in Hopkins, Minnesota. Came right up to us meowing softly. When one of us reached her hand out, he pressed his forehead into her palm. I've never seen a cat so friendly and affectionate. Personality is like a dog. He comes to you. He needs you. Goin to the shelter on the 16th because we can't have pets in our building. Comment if interested in adopting. https://youtube.com/shorts/NE_Wcp2gYfc?si=GLEWDxXhE6b3Zy_8

Story
Sunshine, a male orange tabby was born around April 2020. He was found by a resident and turned into the Rescue. He occasionally talks at meal times. Sunny hasn’t met dogs or kids under age eight. With proper introductions he gets along with most cats and he’d enjoy another cat for a pal. The foster mom says he is sweet, smart, friendly with known people, and affectionate on his terms. Sunny is shy/avoidant of strangers. At this stage, he is uncomfortable being picked up. Sunny likes playing with interactive wand toys and watching birds at the window. He has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Are you the patient person willing to give him time to trust and blossom in a new setting and you be rewarded with a special relationship with him? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com . If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~* *

Story
Meet Trent! Trent is a mellow, brown tabby kitten born in March of 2026. He tolerates the foster’s active dog and gets along with the adult male cats. He hasn’t met children, but if they are gentle he should do well. Trent is very friendly with trusted folks and cautiously friendly with strangers after about 45 minutes. Trent will sleep with you for a couple hours at night and then leaves. When he hears you coming, Trent is at the door waiting. He is okay being picked up and held for a short time and then he wants down to scamper about playing. Trent enjoys interactive toys and playing by himself. He is quiet until meal time. He will let you place him in your lap and stays for a time of petting and brushing. Trent and his 2 four-week-old siblings were found on a highway. Trent uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Story
Meet Tripp! Tripp was born in March 2026 and was found on a highway with 2 siblings at 4 weeks of age. He is easy-going and very friendly with known folks and hesitantly friendly with strangers after about 30 minutes. He will greet you at the door and looks forward to interacting with you. Tripp is quiet until meal time when he lets you know you are late. He tolerates being picked up and carried for a short time. He will let you place him in your lap and stays for a time of brushing and petting. Tripp then is off to be a typical kitten, playing by himself with cat toys or interactively with you. He tolerates the foster’s active dog and gets along with the adult male cats. Tripp is a brown tabby kitten whose tail has a partial Mohawk hair style and he has marble stripe swirls on one side. He uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. Story
Meet Stelten! Stelten, a very affectionate, confident, mellow kitten was born at the foster home in Feb. 2026. He is a brown tabby with agouti fur, white on his chest and tummy plus white mittens. He will jump into your lap or let you place him there and stays for long sessions of brushing and petting. He purrs on contact with his trusted person and plays with water in his dish. He enjoys watching wildlife at the window, playing by himself or interactively with you. He is friendly with strangers, gets along with the resident dog, female cats, and he is on the dominate side with boy cats. He is a periodic talker at meal times and will get the kitten zoomies occasionally. Periodically he rolls over wanting his tummy stroked. Sometimes he reaches up requesting to be held. Then he face rubs and gives kitty-kisses. He watches for you at the window, greets you at the door, ankle rubs, and tags along around the house. He would do best with another pet for a pal. He uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Story
Watson, 7, is a loving cuddly tuxedo cat. We unfortunately have a severe allergy in the home and need to rehome this wonderful pet. We have been blessed to have awesome pets, and this cat is the best. He has patience for our young children, and is so people friendly. Watson is shy at first and will hide when new people come into the house, but eventually his true colors shine through. He is just the sweetest boy. He is wonderful. Unfortunately, one year he accidentally got outside, and him being a scaredy cat, he couldn’t make his way home. We looked for days in the winter and couldn’t find him. One day we did find him, but it came with a cost. He had frost bite on his ears and tail, so now he has no ears and half a day. This makes him an even more adorable cat. I have nothing negative to say about Watson. He is truly a blessing. This is so difficult for our family.
