Story
Sunshine, a male orange tabby was born around April 2020. He was found by a resident and turned into the Rescue. He occasionally talks at meal times. Sunny hasn’t met dogs or kids under age eight. With proper introductions he gets along with most cats and he’d enjoy another cat for a pal. The foster mom says he is sweet, smart, friendly with known people, and affectionate on his terms. Sunny is shy/avoidant of strangers. At this stage, he is uncomfortable being picked up. Sunny likes playing with interactive wand toys and watching birds at the window. He has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Are you the patient person willing to give him time to trust and blossom in a new setting and you be rewarded with a special relationship with him? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com . If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~* *

Story
Dilly, an affectionate brown/black tabby kitten, was born July 2023. He was found injured behind a store. Dilly has agouti speckled fur and polydactyl feet. If he knows you, he is okay being picked up and held, plus reaches up to touch your nose. When you sit, he will jump in to your lap or will let you place him in your lap, staying for short sessions of petting and brushing. Dilly often rolls over for tummy stroking, and he likes to sleep with you. Dilly likes the foster family’s young dog and plays with him. He likes kittens plus passive adult female cats. He hides from active kids and is shy around strangers. Dilly likes to supervise the cleaning of the litterbox and occasionally is underfoot. He has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Dilly would do best with another pet for a friend. Foster kitten pals are available. If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Story
How about a very friendly, male, orange tabby kitten for your new companion? Degas greets you at the door, reaches up to be held like a baby, touches your nose, and gives kitty kisses. This confident, easy-going guy was born in March 2024. He and his tiny siblings had to be bottle fed. Degas will jump into your lap or let you place him there and stays as long as you keep petting or brushing. Being kitten-active, he likes to play with toys by himself or interactively with you. His medium-loud purr is heard when he comes in contact with his trusted person. When in the mood, he rolls over wanting tummy stroking. Degas lives with an active dog and other cats, all of which he gets along with. He hasn’t met children, but will do well if they are respectful and gentle. He is friendly with strangers after a few minutes. Degas would enjoy another pet for a companion. He uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. Siblings are available. Story
This friendly, out-going, affectionate male orange tabby was born March 2024. He reaches up wanting you to pick him up and cradle him like a baby. Picasso will rub again your face, give kitty kisses, and kneads you. His medium loud purr is heard as soon as he comes in contact with his trusted person. Picasso is a periodic talker and will roll over for tummy stroking if he knows you. He ankle rubs, jumps into your lap, and will stay for short sessions of petting and brushing. Picasso is kitten-active, enjoying playing by himself with toys and interactively with you if there is no competition. He is friendly with strangers after a few minutes of sniffing. He hasn’t met kids, but should be fine with them if they are kind and gentle. In his foster home he gets along with the other cats and tolerates the active dog. Picasso does a fine job using his litterbox and also uses a scratching post. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Meet Gypsy! - a brown, tan, black and white female tabby who was found as a stray. The vet thinks she was born around June 2023. Gypsy is quiet, mellow and affectionate on her terms. Story
Small Cat is a charming 3-year-old tabby with a delightful personality. He is friendly, affectionate, and truly a joy to be around. Unfortunately, due to my job requiring frequent travel every other month, I am unable to keep him. The thought of leaving him alone or relying on friends and family for care is distressing, as he deserves a loving owner who can provide the attention he needs. Small Cat enjoys playing and is gentle, rarely scratching. His way of expressing affection includes gentle nibbles, and he often rubs his face against your hands and cheeks to show his love. He adores being held and loves to snuggle up next to you while you sleep, acting as a watchful guardian. I hope to find a place where Small Cat can interact with people regularly and have the freedom to enjoy himself. He's very vocal and loves a conversation. you will because to chat with him for hours and his pur's are super loud and peaceful!

These pups are in Shakopee, Minnesota too!

Story
Kendrick (Kenny) is a loving and gentle soul. Unfortunately our living circumstances have changed and we cannot give him the happy life he deserves. Prior to moving, he had a safe space away from the dogs and not near our sleeping/living space. He had the basement while the dogs and human with allergies had the upstairs space. Now we are all confined to a small space and it’s stressing Kenny out. He has some tummy issues but we have taken him to the vet with no clear reason as to why and we unfortunately don’t have the means to care for him properly.

Story
Meet Tormund! He is 5 years old, and he came to us from an owner who could not care for a high-energy kitten in the summer of 2019. He is the friendliest grumpy cat you will ever meet. Always wants to be around you and interacting but only on his own terms. He loves cuddles, as long as he initiates them. He is food motivated and likes to get his meals on time (and sometimes earlier!) every day - he will let you know when he thinks it's time for him to be fed! He is a very good brother to his cat brother - Julian. He loves to groom him and play with him. He is ALWAYS making s laugh with his shenanigans. At his core, he is a sweetheart who just wants to interact with you and be silly with you. As any cat, he loves his naps, and you will find him cuddling in a sunbeam with his brother often. We are looking for a loving, medium-energy home. We would like to adopt him with his brother, Julian (https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/43053407-shakopee-minnesota-cat)

Story
Julian came to us all the way from a golf course in Iowa in Summer of 2021. He is now 3 years old, but he is always "just a baby" to me! What can I say about Julian - he is the sweetest, most gentle soul there is. There is not a mean or grumpy bone in his body. He is very affectionate and will flop over every time you walk up to him for pets and cuddles. He will nudge his little head into your hands until you give him pets and scratches. He loves to chase his laser and play with his wand toy. He will come lay near/on you for his naps, otherwise he will plop down right in the middle of a sunbeam. He is quirky, sweet, gentle and playful. He will not get into things and will be content playing with you for a little bit and then napping near you. He also loves his big brother Tormund very much and will play with and groom him. We would like to adopt him with his brother, Tormund (https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/43053362-shakopee-minnesota-cat).
