Story
Hey, hate to do this but my building isn’t cat-friendly so I gotta find Pluto a new home. He’s about 7 months old, male, gray tabby, and honestly a really good cat. He’s super friendly and people-loving, follows you around, hangs out while you game, sleeps in your lap. Litter trained, eats normal, no health issues that I know of. Loves attention and will be right up in your business in the best way.

Story
His name is Dreamer. He is a gray tabby. He is almost 14 years old. He is from Hawaii humane society. He picked me when he was a kitten so I took him home The only special needs he has is a light heart murmur that has never worsened with aging and one time when he was a kitten he was backed up with crystals in his urinary tract and once the vet squeezed his bladder he relieved himself and have never had any issues since. He gets fed Purina one urinary tract dry cat food and it works just fine. I am moving and can't take him with so he needs a good home to go to. He is low maintenance. Mostly eats 1/4 cup twice a day and sleeps. He loves lap time and likes to purr. Litter box trained. Indoor cat only.

Story
I took in Momo after an elderly friend of mine could no longer care for her. She is the sweetest little girl but definitely needs someone who is around often. I think someone who works from home or is retired. Sadly I work 10 hour days and cannot keep her. She would do best in a home with no other animals. She is great with people. She has a sensitive digestive system and needs to eat multiple small meals daily. I have brought her to a few different vets trying to figure out if anything is wrong but they couldn't find any problems. I have her on a strict wet food diet but she does still throw up a few times a week. She likes to snuggle, mild play and loves to talk. An owner who wants to be a caregiver that has to do a few extra things is ideal for her. I think if someone took the time to try and problem solve food allergies this may be her issue. Though she has digestive issues she is still a super fun, loving little girl.

Story
My wife and I adopted Elwood and his brother, Otto, in 2014. They were part of a litter of 3 kittens found on a farm. Elwood is the sweetest cat I have ever been around. He will let you hold him as long as you like and he loves to sit on your lap. Elwood also gives a lot of headbutts. Elwood is playful every morning. He lays on his back and rolls side to side. He will bat at your hand or yarn. He also loves chasing light/lasers.We are looking for a new home for him because he has not adjusted well to us having a child. We no longer can give our cats our undivided attention, and that has been particularly difficult for Elwood who has urinated in various spots in the home to express his unhappiness. Our son also crawls after them daily. We keep him from grabbing them, but we believe it still stresses Elwood out.I took Elwood in for his annual checkup in February. He is in great health. Elwood has had slight asthma for the last year, but he does not require an inhaler or other medication.

Story
Benji is a very special little guy with a big personality. Hes playful, curious, snuggly, and just the right amount of mischievous-especially when he gets bored! He loves being close to his people and will happily help if you work from home. Benji is an adventurous climber, so a home with a cat tree or vertical space is a must for him. Despite his small size, hes quite the acrobat and will keep you entertained with his antics. For safety, he is currently kept in a large dog kennel when left alone, as he is still tiny and exploring the world. He does well around other cats and dogs and enjoys being part of a multi-pet household. While he has toys of his own, Benji has a funny habit of pulling dog toys out of the basket instead of playing with his own though wand toys are definitely his Kryptonite! We estimate Benji to be around 9 weeks old and he weighs approximately 1.5 lbs. He is already litter box trained and off to a great start. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate, and entertaining companion, Benji would make a wonderful addition to your home! All cats have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. If you are interested in meeting this cat please complete the adoption application on our website at https://safehandsrescue.org/adoption-process/ and then we can contact you about setting up a meeting.

Story
Meet Rosie Rosie is a sweet, quirky 8-year-old cat who has been a loved part of our family. With recent changes—moving homes and the addition of a young child—she’s become very stressed and no longer feels comfortable in our environment. She’s looking for a calm, quiet home where she can relax and feel safe again. Rosie is goofy and affectionate in her own way—she’ll bring you toys in the morning, loves treats and wet food, and enjoys laser pointers and feather toys. She’s more independent during the day but loves cuddles at night (often sleeping on your pillow!). She does well with other cats and is friendly with guests, but she needs a home without dogs or young children, as loud or high-energy environments make her fearful. We’re heartbroken, but want the best for her—a peaceful home where she can truly thrive.
