Story
His name is Dreamer. He is a gray tabby. He is almost 14 years old. He is from Hawaii humane society. He picked me when he was a kitten so I took him home The only special needs he has is a light heart murmur that has never worsened with aging and one time when he was a kitten he was backed up with crystals in his urinary tract and once the vet squeezed his bladder he relieved himself and have never had any issues since. He gets fed Purina one urinary tract dry cat food and it works just fine. I am moving and can't take him with so he needs a good home to go to. He is low maintenance. Mostly eats 1/4 cup twice a day and sleeps. He loves lap time and likes to purr. Litter box trained. Indoor cat only.

Story
I took in Momo after an elderly friend of mine could no longer care for her. She is the sweetest little girl but definitely needs someone who is around often. I think someone who works from home or is retired. Sadly I work 10 hour days and cannot keep her. She would do best in a home with no other animals. She is great with people. She has a sensitive digestive system and needs to eat multiple small meals daily. I have brought her to a few different vets trying to figure out if anything is wrong but they couldn't find any problems. I have her on a strict wet food diet but she does still throw up a few times a week. She likes to snuggle, mild play and loves to talk. An owner who wants to be a caregiver that has to do a few extra things is ideal for her. I think if someone took the time to try and problem solve food allergies this may be her issue. Though she has digestive issues she is still a super fun, loving little girl.

Story
Sunshine, a male orange tabby was born around April 2020. He was found by a resident and turned into the Rescue. He occasionally talks at meal times. Sunny hasn’t met dogs or kids under age eight. With proper introductions he gets along with most cats and he’d enjoy another cat for a pal. The foster mom says he is sweet, smart, friendly with known people, and affectionate on his terms. Sunny is shy/avoidant of strangers. At this stage, he is uncomfortable being picked up. Sunny likes playing with interactive wand toys and watching birds at the window. He has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Are you the patient person willing to give him time to trust and blossom in a new setting and you be rewarded with a special relationship with him? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com . If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~* *

Story
Stormy is an easy-going, confident, orange tabby male with white undersides and socks, who was born in March 2025. He gets along with the foster’s active dog and both male and female cats. Stormy is friendly with strangers. He face rubs, head butts, and ankle rubs. He is quiet, gives kitty kisses, and is kitten-active. Stormy is okay being picked up and carried. When you sit, he jumps into your lap or lets you place him there. Stormy stays for short periods of brushing or petting. Then he is off to play with cat toys or watch wildlife out the window. He follows you around the house wanting to sit near you. Stormy hasn’t met children, but if they are gentle and respectful he should do fine. He enjoys playing with interactive wand toys, also. He was found with an injured leg and was unclaimed. He uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Story
Benji is a very special little guy with a big personality. Hes playful, curious, snuggly, and just the right amount of mischievous-especially when he gets bored! He loves being close to his people and will happily help if you work from home. Benji is an adventurous climber, so a home with a cat tree or vertical space is a must for him. Despite his small size, hes quite the acrobat and will keep you entertained with his antics. For safety, he is currently kept in a large dog kennel when left alone, as he is still tiny and exploring the world. He does well around other cats and dogs and enjoys being part of a multi-pet household. While he has toys of his own, Benji has a funny habit of pulling dog toys out of the basket instead of playing with his own though wand toys are definitely his Kryptonite! We estimate Benji to be around 11 weeks old and he weighs approximately 2 lbs. He is already litter box trained and off to a great start. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate, and entertaining companion, Benji would make a wonderful addition to your home! All cats have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. If you are interested in meeting this cat please complete the adoption application on our website at https://safehandsrescue.org/adoption-process/ and then we can contact you about setting up a meeting.

Story
Hi, my name is Kendra and I am from Minnesota. This sweet girl loves attention! She transitioned immediately and wasn't scared when she came to our house. She was curious and checked out everything. She follows us around the house. When we are hanging out in the living room she moves from person to person looking for attention. She is figuring out how to also engage by cuddling for extra attention. She uses her litter box consistently. We have put out several scratch pads so she leaves the furniture alone. she is a gem! From the foster: She will do well with kids and a busy household as she likes lots of attention. She will meet our young grandkids next week and I expect that will go well. So, I'll be able to let you know if she engages well with very young children. We pick her up and hold her. She tolerates it and even enjoys it in small doses before she is ready to be set back down. My hunch is she would do well with another cat as she is easy going and friendly.

Story
Hello my name is Luna, I'm from Minnesota! I'm a small, cross-eyed lady with big opinions — if breakfast is late, you'll hear about it! Despite my chattiness, I'm incredibly lovable and friendly. Within hours of arriving at my foster home, I was already soaking up belly rubs. I'm also curious and confident — by day two, I was scratching at the door ready to explore the rest of the house. I'm still warming up to the 2 cats and 1 dog in my foster home, but I'm showing all the signs of becoming a great companion to both pets and people. If you're ready to give me the time, love, and vet care I need to thrive, I promise to fill your home with personality and purrs! From the Vet: Luna came into rescue with a previous history of urinary issues and bladder stones. She was examined with our Rescue Medical Team and we determined she would do best on a prescription urinary diet - likely for her whole life - to help dissolve and prevent bladder stones, therefore reducing risk for UTI's. Increasing moisture in her diet will also be beneficial. We will plan to recheck Luna in the coming weeks to make sure no other lifestyle changes should be pursued to make sure she remains happy and healthy for her forever family!
