Paleta is a 3-year-old Chihuahua mix and Tartufo is about 8 years old, and neither has had the easiest go of it, but their lives have already changed for the better, and they are excited knowing their lives are only going to keep getting better and better! Paleta and Tartufo are working on gaining their confidence and are looking for a quiet home where they can blossom at their own paces. Paleta and Tartufo lived with other dogs before, but we aren't sure how they got along. However, they love each other very much! We don't know if they've ever lived with cats. At the time, an infectious disease was spreading through the shelter, and the weather was becoming increasingly cold. Realizing Soobin would not be able to survive those conditions, we urgently brought her into our care. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Can be a bit cautious around strangers, but she isn’t naturally timid. Once she gets used to someone, she is likely to open up quickly. * With Dogs: Tends to bark warily when she sees other dogs moving in front of her. * With Cats: Has not been introduced to them yet. * Separation Anxiety: Difficult to determine at this time as she is currently living in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Since she lives at our center, she currently only relieves herself outdoors. * Hygiene: Her reaction is unknown as she has not had much experience with professional grooming yet. * Walks: Due to her ongoing heartworm treatment, her walks are strictly restricted, so her leash manners are yet to be determined. * Car Sickness: Hasn't had enough experience in cars to determine if she gets motion sickness. * Has shown no signs of biting or mouthing. * Barks sensitively at the movements of other dogs, but this may be due to the unfamiliar environment. Meet Lilianna! She is a 4-year-old, 22 lb, Yorkie Terrier mix who was found as a stray in CA and is currently in a foster home. She is shy and skittish, and it will take some time to win her heart. She can be nervous and does not enjoy long car rides or new places. She is potty trained/house trained. She is a happy dog with lots of energy. She is very smart and playful with other dogs. She would love to have another dog in the home. She could possibly be an only dog but she would need a home where someone is home most of the time. She is extremely smart but has a sense of independence. She's stubborn and will listen when she's ready. She is a high flight risk since she won't come on command. She is quick and will dart out an open door and can be an escape artist. Due to her tendency to run, we are looking for a home for her within a 10-mile radius of the Edmonds area. We are looking for an adult only home for her with no children or grandchildren. She is spayed and microchipped. She's up to date on vaccination, and her fee is $550.
