If you would love a dog with head turning presence, a broad chest and highly intelligent, Earl Gray is the complete package. He is a low riding, stocky, strong, 52 lb. American Bully. The absolute perfect combination of sweet & spicy. According to Earl: Hey there everyone. I am Earl Gray, also known as Buddy by my foster mom. I am super smart, so training is fun and I am laser focused. I will do just about anything if you have a pocket full of yummy treats. Words and their meaning that I have learned since being in foster care for 4 months are “come”, “sit”, “stay”, “no”, “place” and “drop it”. She says my grade is a B+ right now, but I am working hard at elevating that to an A+. I think I am extremely handsome so be ready for some attention while I am out and about. I think I could be famous for Instagram if you posted photos of my antics and for being the absolute King of the side eye. I am also a favorite of all the vet techs. They spoon over me every time they see me saying things like “oh my, he is so darn cute” , “oh yay Earl is here” and “he makes our day”. What can I say, I am irresistible. I do request daily tug of war games please, but you should know that you are probably not going to win so don’t get your hopes up. I am quite competitive so, be ready for a challenge! Chew toys are also my favorite past time, and I like to bring them to you in case you want to play with them also but only the tough chewer ones are the best for my chewing habits. I do like short walks for all the smells because my nose is like a blood hound, but I am not built for those long-distance hiking adventures. Zoomies, yes, I do them and I take them very seriously. Once or twice a day I just need to get some energy out. They last about 3 minutes and are super fun to watch but please stay out of my way and just let me do my thing. I will crouch down and take off. Beautiful floors and rugs are not where I go potty, like I said I am smart, so I know where to do my business and I will sit at the door patiently waiting to go out. I really LOVE humans of all kinds. I get excited, but I am learning to take it down a notch and wait for those belly rubs and I really hope you massage my super cute blockhead and give me belly rubs! Crate, no problem, I am not dramatic. Throw in a treat and I am in there. I rest soundly all night and during the day when my foster mom is at work. Remember, I am still a toddler, so I do like a good amount of playtime! A good hour in the morning and at least 2 hours a night of interacting play really makes me happy! I really like children, but I am still learning my boundaries so they should be old enough to understand my excitability and curious nature. I think over 12 years old would be best! I am a happy guy and enjoy playing with other dogs too! Kennel License 16984
