Violet is a loving, people-oriented pup who came from Philly ACCT in July 2024 and has been an absolute cuddle bug ever since. She adores being close to her humans – her favorite things are going for walks and then curling up on your lap to relax. Unfortunately, Violet and my resident dog aren’t able to get along, so with a heavy heart I’m looking for a new home where Violet can truly thrive. Violet would do best in: A home where she is the only dog, With someone who loves hugs & snuggles, and has gentle structure, A person or family who enjoys spending time together. She is so deserving of a calm, loving environment where she can be the center of someone’s world and the recipient of lots of warmth and affection. I want to be sure we can get her there! Meet Bojangles! This loving bully mix is just five months old and already the happy go lucky kind of dog that people dream of having. While adventuring and floating on the river are his favorite activities so far, this fella is also down for playing with other dogs. Despite his adventurous nature, Bojangles will also settle well in a crate and is totally up for snuggling with his person. Kallan Rua is being fostered in TN. she is so smart she is now potty trained! Vision Update: 1/16/26 Originally we thought she just had ulcers and they were healed with some vision loss...we have since found that she has no vision in her left eye and has developed primary glaucoma... she is currently being treated with 2x daily eye drops which are very affordable and tolerating it very well. She is expected to eventually need that eye removed if she no longer responds to the eye drops in the future. The glaucoma is hereditary and could move to the right eye as well. She is currently normal and happy and still sees shadows in her right eye. Her weight is now 8.7 lbs. Kallan Rua ( cowl-lawn roo_ah) lives up to her Irish name as a brave warrior and a strong ginger haired girl!!! At 8.5 weeks she has the biggest personality, she is playful and LOVES her toys, she is absolutely adorable and so smart. She loves praise. She is 10000% a lap puppy and was bottle fed so all she wants is to cuddle and be held and kissed. She is fantastic with the foster mom's two dogs ( although she is too young to really play and interact yet) and shows only gentle interest in cats. She has yet to meet a person she has not loved or a lap she does not want to be in. Kallen is a typical puppy, curious about everything, playful, and absolutely full of mischief. She doesn't walk...she leaps from place to place exploding with joy... and every adventure is better than the next as far as she is concerned. She has no fear and shows no issues with her limited vision. She does not run into anything and can see well enough to navigate her world perfectly. Foster home is currently crate training and working on basic commands. She is so smart and only wants to please!!! BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

As I stood there, he started barking. When I opened the door, he was trying to push out. He allowed me to leash him. Leash Skills: He peed as soon as we got outside. He is strong and pulls moderately on leash. Sociability: When I sat down, he left his rope toy and approached me, putting his front paws on my lap. He allowed me to pet him all over, remaining loose. He did exhibit some brief mouthiness. Seems to know "sit." Play & Toys: He is high energy. He zoomed all over the yard. He did put my leash in my mouth but only when romping around. When I took a rope toy out, he jumped up to grab it. We played a game of tug of war, during which he remained playful. Dog interaction: None. Returning to kennel: Walking through the kennels, he did attempt to go up to other dogs kennels. He easily went in his kennel and allowed me to unleash him.
