Meet Murphy! A charming six-and-a-half-year-old Boxer/American Pitbull Terrier mix currently in Austin, TX, whose essence is a lively blend of curiosity and affection wrapped in a handsome tan coat with bright white accents. He is a 65-pound bundle of energy who greets each day with enthusiasm, especially if it includes long walks, open space to run, and the irresistible promise of cheese treats! Story
Derby is a 7-month-old sweetheart with the biggest heart and the cutest little nickname — “Derpy.” She is deaf, but that doesn’t slow her down one bit. In fact, it just makes her extra special. Derby is incredibly cuddly and absolutely adores being close to her people. If you’re looking for a snuggle bug, she’s your girl. She gets along beautifully with large dogs, small dogs, cats, and kids — she truly just wants to be everyone’s friend. Despite having a very ruff start in life, Derby is blossoming into the happiest, wiggliest little ray of sunshine. Watching her confidence grow has been such a gift. She can still be a little nervous at times, but with patience and love, she continues to come out of her shell more each day. She’s also the heaviest sleeper you’ll ever meet — once she’s out, she’s out! Derby walks nicely on a leash and is currently working on her potty training (she’s making progress!). She’s learning, growing, and trying her very best every single day. This sweet girl deserves a home filled with love, patience, and cozy cuddle spots. Her perfect family is out there — and when they find her, they’ll wonder how they ever lived without their little Derpy girl. https://bit.ly/codys_adoption_application. ##2660088##

Story
Meet Cindy! A devoted almost nine-year-old American Pitbull Terrier currently in Denver, CO, whose heart is as big as her famously wiggly behind and whose blue-and-white coat glows like a winter sky. Cindy is a champion cuddler, a certified greeter of guests (with kisses and tail wags galore), and a firm believer that no moment is complete without a little snuggling! She adores humans of all kinds and is especially gentle with respectful kids over 10. With a calm and steady daily routine, this sweet girl thrives in a quiet, structured home where she can be your loyal shadow and forever nap buddy. At 68 pounds of pure affection, Cindy is beautifully house-trained, never destructive, and has a solid command vocabulary. She knows “sit,” “stay,” “down,” “place,” “shake,” “no,” and “leave it.” She’s the kind of dog who won’t chew your shoes, won’t beg at the table, and will always ask politely to go outside. Short 10- to 20-minute strolls are her jam, and once she’s gotten in a good sniff or two, she’s happy to spend the rest of her day lounging beside you or playing tug-of-war with her beloved squeaky toys. Now, about those dental treats, prepare yourself. Cindy has a passion for oral hygiene that borders on obsession. One shake of the dental chew bag, and she’s sprinting over with eyes wide and tail in hyperdrive! It’s the kind of joy that only a dog who truly loves the little things can bring. While she’s deeply affectionate with people, Cindy needs to be the only pet in the home. She’s fearful and reactive around other animals and has worked with trainers and behaviorists who all agree she simply prefers a pet-free environment. She’s not aggressive at heart, she just doesn’t quite know how to share her people or space with other furry companions. During one past interaction, a dog got too close to her face, and Cindy responded with a bite. This incident helped confirm that, while she adores people, she truly thrives in a calm, pet-free home where she can feel safe and secure. Great news for potential adopters, Cindy’s adoption fee has been sponsored! If you’re looking for a soulful sidekick who will smother you with love, keep you laughing, and never turn down a snuggle or a treat, Cindy is ready to meet you! Ready to welcome this sweet, soulful girl into your heart and home? To learn more about adopting Cindy, contact adopt@joyfulpets.com!

Story
Meet Doggert! A joyful American Pitbull Terrier/Siberian Husky mix currently in Waxahachie, TX, estimated to be about three to four years old, whose essence is a whirlwind of fun wrapped in a tan-and-white coat and topped with the biggest, goofiest smile you’ve ever seen. At around 75 pounds of pure personality, Doggert is the kind of companion who turns every day into an adventure with a tennis ball in his mouth and his expressive ears flopping in the breeze. This playful, affectionate boy is a real crowd-pleaser at the dog park, where he zips around like a furry rocket, always ready to fetch, chase, and make new friends! He’s wonderfully friendly with other dogs, gets along well with cats, and has a gentle, happy-go-lucky way with children. Whether he's zooming across the yard or melting into a cuddle session after a long walk, Doggert balances his active lifestyle with heartwarming affection, especially if you’re into toe kisses! Doggert is house-trained, crate-trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, and even responds to hand signals for “lay.” He adjusts well to a routine and stays calm when left alone, but he truly lights up when his people are nearby. A fenced yard is a must for this speedy sprinter! He needs space to run, explore, and release his Husky side in full glory. Got an active lifestyle? Doggert is your perfect partner for morning jogs, weekend hikes, or backyard fetch marathons! He’s always game for adventure but equally content to flop down for some belly rubs afterward. Just be sure to keep a few tennis balls handy! He loves to chew and these trusty toys help him steer clear of anything off-limits. Doggert needs a family or guardian who values playtime, companionship, and outdoor fun. If your heart’s big enough for one oversized grin and your yard’s roomy enough for zoomies, could Doggert be the cheerful new buddy you’ve been waiting for? Ready to meet this lovable goofball? Reach out to adopt@joyfulpets.com and see if your world is about to get a whole lot brighter! Content Notice: This pet is represented by Joyful Pets. Story
Meet Stitch! A charming four-year-old American Pitbull Terrier mix currently in Humble, TX, whose essence is a joyful blend of playful energy and heart-melting affection wrapped in a rich reddish brown coat. Stitch is the kind of companion who fills each day with warmth, whether he is romping around the yard or relaxing near his favorite people. With a medium build and about 60 pounds of love to give, he carries himself with a gentle confidence that instantly puts others at ease. Stitch has grown up alongside a young child and shows a remarkable gentleness that truly stands out. He happily accepts hand-fed treats and remains calm and careful when little hands are nearby, making him wonderfully compatible with families with children. His friendly nature extends beyond the home as well, as he enjoys meeting new people and greeting fellow dogs with an easygoing, social spirit. This bright boy already knows commands like sit, wait, come, and down, and he responds well to guidance with positive reinforcement. While he has not had formal training classes, he shows a natural eagerness to learn and would enjoy continued learning opportunities with his future family. When left alone for short periods, Stitch stays relaxed and entertains himself with toys or quiet exploration. He enjoys spending time outdoors where he can stretch his legs, and he would thrive in a caring environment where he has space to run and play. Like many active dogs, he sometimes gets a little creative with digging or chewing if he does not have enough toys, but providing him with engaging chew options keeps his playful mind happy. Stitch’s soulful gaze and constant companionship create a special bond that his future family will feel every day. He is looking for a new loving home that can offer attention, playtime, and plenty of shared moments. Could Stitch be the companion who brings a new rhythm of joy and connection into your days?
