Story
Male, approx. 1 year old, 75 lbs. Personality: goofy/funny, calm, rambunctious, adaptable, adventurous, quiet, snuggler, smart, affectionate, trustworthy, eager-to-please, easygoing, mischievous, playful, energetic, and loyal. Meet Cowboy (fka Guava), your new best friend! He's an affectionate boy looking for a forever home to share his boundless love and joyful energy. He is loyal, goofy, and intelligent, and has mastered essential words like sit, stay, touch, paw, and down. And he's not just book smart! Cowboy loves cuddles yet has the emotional intelligence to respect personal space. An ideal day with Cowboy includes a long morning stroll full of sniffs, followed by breakfast, playing with toys, napping, snuggling, and a peaceful night's sleep in his beloved crate. Quiet, house-trained, and well-behaved, this people-pleaser would do equally well in an apartment or a large home. Cowboy is friends with cats and is also generally good with other dogs while off-leash, which means fun pup play dates! His fosters report that training him is so much fun because he just wants to be the best boy, and his happiness at being a good boy is contagious. Cowboy has made great progress on his manners when meeting other dogs while out on walks, and he is learning not to jump up with joy when meeting someone new. Are you looking for a dog who provides affectionate, loyal companionship and playful energy that will fill your home with happiness? Cowboy is waiting for you: apply today! Story
Winston is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Winston is 85 pounds of BIG LOVE! He fun fun fun and high energy. He gets along with everyone, and wants to be your friend right away. He loves to play tug and fetch, and enjoyes running and jumping in the backyard. We think Winston is an American Bulldog mix, and he exibits the independent and sometimes stubborn, but affectionate, nature of the breed. He gets along well with other dogs (although is a little clueless when they ask him for personal space). We are unsure about his ability to dwell with cats (we are sure he wants to chase them). Winston's ideal family will be athletic, and outdoorsy, and equipped ideally with a backyard or easy access to hiking trails and open spaces. ATTRIBUTES: Winston has done well interacting with other dogs both big AND tiny. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. We strive to provide accurate information on all of our animals however, we are unable to guarantee an animal's breed, size, health, behavior, temperament, or any other conditions. TO ADOPT OR FOSTER: Please apply on our website at www.lailaslegacyanimalrescue.org or email info@lailaslegacyanimalrescue.org if you have questions! TO DONATE: Please consider making a donation on our website at www.lailaslegacyanimalrescue.org so that Laila's Legacy can continue to provide lifesaving medical treatment and training.

Story
Hello there, I'm Coraline, and I'm here to share my story with you. You might have guessed it; I was named after the movie "Coraline," and just like the adventurous spirit in the film, I'm ready to explore the world and find my forever family. Now, I have a few quirks to share with you. I can get a little overexcited and jumpy when I'm excited to see you. It's kind of like when Coraline found that hidden door - my enthusiasm just can't be contained. But don't worry, underneath it all, I'm as sweet as the buttons on Coraline's other mother. I have a little treasure-hunting talent too. If you cover treats, I'll dig around to find them, just like Coraline discovered secrets in her new world. While I'm busy working on a bone, I love pets, and I might even come over and sit in your lap to enjoy some extra affection. Much like Coraline's cat, I appreciate the warmth and company. I'm very friendly and playful, and I love to have fun. But here's the thing, when it comes to taking treats, I can be a bit "mouthy." It's like I'm so hungry for love and attention that I can't help but be enthusiastic. It's just my way of saying how much I enjoy your company. So, if you're looking for a furry friend with a bit of spunk and a whole lot of sweetness, I'm here, ready to join your adventure. Let's make memories together, just like Coraline did in her fantastical journey. Come meet me, Coraline, and let's start our own story of love and companionship.

Story
We first brought ghost home when he was 12 weeks home right when the Covid shut down happened so socializing wasn’t the easiest. At first he was a normal pup with all animals and dogs and after about a year he became extremely aggressive forwards other dogs and animals. We have already had an incident where we live and as much as we don’t want to get rehome him, it’s what is best at this point. He would do well with somebody who is younger and or has a decent yard. He’s starting to turn our other dog aggressive and she’s much older.
