Hi there! My name is Tater Tot!I`m about 5 years old, weigh about 64lb and I`m a super cute short little Pitty Mix!I`m a super cute, roly poly of a dog! I love to play with people! I do know sit! I`m just happy all the time! I would love to go on walks with you...well, maybe not super long walks, cuz I`d rather just be a couch potato!I do like to play with other dogs, but really high energy dogs aren`t really my thing. If you have another pup at home, I`d love to meet them to see if we`re a match!So here`s the thing about me...I was adopted but returned. My previous adopter had small kids, and just didn`t feel comfortable with me being around them. Just like with higer energy dogs, little kids just have too much energy that`s not a fit for me. It would be best if I`m in a home with older kids or no kids. Rocco is very smart, loving and friendly. He loves being rubbed, and hugged. He enjoys going for walks or just running around the yard. He is comfortable with going to the groomer for baths. He has only been bathed at home once and did fine. He is comfortable going up and down the basement but not the upper level yet. He is a bit timid when it comes to sudden movements or unfamiliar sounds. Not sure why, he has never been spanked. He does bark when someone comes to the door which makes it sound like he's protecting the house when he will really just lick them to death! He's great with small and large children and is around them almost daily. He is trained to the crate as he feels more comfortable there when he's home alone. He may have chicken allergies (paw licking) and he's picky with treats.

Hello, my name is Portia and came into the shelter as a stray. I`m about 3 years old and weigh about 55lbs. I`m a little nervous and shy at first when I meet new people. I do come out of my shell when I feel comfortable and when I see other dogs. You just have to be patience with me and give me extra time to get comfortable with my surroundings. I will for sure will be better in a nice warm house with a lot of love.A nice family home what I`m wishing for all my life! A fence in yard would be the best so I could around and play especially with another dog. I will benefit with extra training, I do know how to sit and will give you my paw! I also like to go for walks and sleep in a nice soft bed when I get tired from a hard day for play. I never been around cats before so probably be better in a home with no cats or can do very slow introduction with me and a cat. Hey, everyone! I`m OX!I`m the biggest boy you ever did see, weighing in right around 73 pounds. I am what my friends at the shelter here call the Gentle Giant. I am super sweet and loving and love giving my human friends kisses. I love to roll over on my back, get scratches and pets and I even know how to sit very well!I love treats and I play really well with both my girl and boy fur friends here. It might not be the best idea to have me around cats only because I don`t know if I like them or not. I will need someone wtih a lot of love and dedication to put towards making sure I get proper leash and obedience training. As I am so large, it will be necessary I get trained on walking politely.I came to the shelter with lots and lots of cuts and scrapes. But now, they`re turning into handsome battle scars. It was also discovered that I have heartworm, which is a easily preventable disease! I am currently receiving treatment, and will go home with some medication.
