We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay online until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! Age: 8 Years Weight: 34lbs Good with dogs? No Good with cats? No Good with kids? No Energy Level: Low-Moderate Adoption Fee: $200.00 Any other info: Please welcome sweet senior Daffodil to the adoption program. Daffodil is an 8 year old sweetheart with a heartwarming spirit and a story that deserves to be heard. When we saw her as we walked the halls of shelter, we just couldn't leave her behind. Rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Detroit, Daffodil carries the marks of her past—scars all over her body that tell tales of resilience, underweight with ribs showing, body scrunched over as if she has been stuck in an undersized crate for far too long, and missing canine teeth we only noticed when she smiled at us. Who knows what kind of life this girl has been living up until now... Despite the hardships she's faced, her affectionate nature shines brightly as she greets everyone with a warm smile, seeking gentle pets and endless cuddles. She has finally learned what toys are and LOVES to play!!! Daffodil is a gentle soul, weighing just 34lbs, who thrives on companionship, reminding us all that love can flourish even in the most challenging circumstances. She has recently been spayed and microchipped. She is also up to date on age appropriate vaccines, heartworm tested negative and kept on prevention here with us. She is now looking for a loving forever home soon and something tells us this will be the first time she will be a part of a real family. Daffodil is so deserving. If you have the best home for this gentle soul, please apply through the link below. https://form.jotform.com/201977724595065 Once your application is processed and approved, our adoptions team will reach out to schedule an in person meet and greet with Daffodil. ------------------------------------------------ Our adoption fees include the pets spay or neuter, microchip, up to date vaccines, heartworm/tick disease testing and fecal check. Faygo is a sweet, fun-loving, and affectionate dog who has been through a lot but still maintains a positive and loving attitude! She is a brave girl who is quiet, gentle, and loves to play. Faygo is an excellent snuggle buddy and will make a great addition to a forever family who can give her all the love she deserves. Faygo is a stunning 38-pound Pit Bull Terrier who is about 4 years old. She underwent heartworm treatment, double knee surgery, and dental surgery extractions. Despite her past, she has a funny, playful, and friendly personality. She is very affectionate and gentle and loves to shower her people in kisses and snuggles.
