Story
Luna is about 2 years old mostly white with a couple black spots. She is fully vaxed and has been spayed. I have vaccine info for her from her last visit. Since Luna has been in my care she has shown that she is good with people. She is friendly and loves to cuddle and play fetch. She loves to run in the yard. She is fully potty trained and crate trained. Luna does not do well with other dogs and has attacked over resources like food, treats, toys. She has also shown that she isn’t friendly to cats. She will need a home where she is the only dog and there are no other pets.

Story
We got him in January at the kitsap humane society in silverdale wa, we do not know his exact age but he is 2 years old. He is very energetic dog that needs lots of attention and patience. He can be aggressive when it comes to toys, he is very protective over his people and toys. His bark is very loud, he’s just a lovable guy. He knows no personal boundaries so he will walk all over you. He’s a fun, lovable big boy that LOVES tug-o-war. He is an escape artist and will probably try to find a way to get out. For the most part he does well with other dogs not sure of cats yet and does well with children but since he is a big boy he will knock them right over. We unfortunately do need to rehome him within the next few weeks since we cannot afford the time or money for the training he needs

Meet Ryder, an energetic and lovable 2-year-old Pitbull eagerly awaiting a home. With a zest for life and boundless energy, Ryder is seeking a patient and committed companion who is ready to invest time and effort into his training. This playful pup thrives on engagement and is looking for someone dedicated to helping him channel his exuberance in positive ways. To ensure the best match, Ryder is best suited for a home without children under the age of 10, as his exuberance might inadvertently lead to smaller family members being knocked over. If you're ready for an active and loving companion, Ryder could be a great addition to your family, ready to share adventures and affection with everyone.Ryder would do best with:- No children under the age of 10This animal is being cross-posted for private rehoming by its owner. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  Betsy was saved from euthanasia after being picked up as a stray and impounded.  She's an older girl likely 6-8 years old.  She's a big girl and appears to be a Cane Corso x Pit bull mix.   She's great with men, women, kids and calm, easy going dogs.  She doesn't appreciate chaos as most mastiffs do not.   She can hold the sofa down like a champ, walks easy on a leash and does great on car rides.   If you can give this beauty and wonderful rest of her life, please submit our adoption application! Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 9, 2024, 7:49 pm

Story
Hi, I'm Bailey! My favorite things are playing, snuggling and going for walks...all with my favorite people, of course! My perfect day looks a little something like this: Wake up to a yummy breakfast, then have some morning snuggles while you have your coffee. After you're caffeinated, let's go for a walk. Next up, maybe some more snuggling? Later we can play with some toys. My favorite is a tug toy, that gets me really excited! Later on, some dinner and an evening walk before we settle in for the night. I'm up for other adventures, too, like hiking or jogging (I am well behaved in the car if that's how we are traveling). I'm an energetic girl and would love to be your adventure buddy. Not only are my friends impressed with my leash manners, they love it when I throw a trick or two their way. "Sit" "down" "rollover" "shake" and "stay," and I'm super food motivated, so you can teach me even learn more. I enjoy being with other dogs, and would be happy with a canine playmate (but no cats for me). I do best with a quiet, calm, predictable existence, so kids may be a bit much for me right now. Come meet me, and see for yourself what a great companion I can be.Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. Story
Here's a very handsome buddy who will cuddle with you all day if you let him, walk by your side and truly care about you! This is Spike, and he is an emotionally intelligent dog. He loves to sleep, smell the air and be a big, cute lover. He has a playful, come-along attitude and is always ready for an adventure. Spike is a dog who is quite comfortable in tight spaces, as his last owner lived from a van, so he would be a great buddy for someone who enjoys traveling or lives a van-life!One of Spike's best friend describes a visit with Spike: he is so excited to see me right off the bat! Happy to be outside. He knows there are always treats coming on these walks, so he is always zeroed in on that idea, but if I tell him "No More Treats" he will gladly move along to sniff around and just check his surroundings. If I get down to his level, he will approach to cuddle and smoosh his forehead into my body. He is very strong and will push me until I tip! Our walks have been largely undistracted and he doesn't get off track to bark or try to run. I'm not allowed to drop Spike's leash, but if I did, I know he wouldn't go anywhere. He's been well trained to stay next to you because he knows that's where he belongs. He will happily play tug of war with the shelter staff. Spike just wants to be a part of things, and is a great companion for walks!Spike comes from a "ruff" background but had a very loving former owner. He has been spoiled, buddied and cuddled his whole life and he just wants that good life back. Can you make it happen?Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. Story
Meet Pluto! Pluto is a friendly guy who has been calm hanging out in staff offices and had some nice play time with other dogs here at the shelter. He's an easy walker and has the cutest puppy dog eyes! This is what a volunteer had to say about him when he went on a field trip: Pluto was a bit restless in the car, but did settle in once we were almost to the park. He did much better on the way back to the shelter. He was GREAT at the park. He was interested in all the passing dogs, but never aggressive or overly eager to approach dogs. He was easy to sit on the trail while we let people with dogs go by. He did sniff a few dogs, but that was after I could tell he was only mildly interested. A few dogs at the park barked and were reactive on leash as we walked by, but he did not react to it and just walked by. He walks with a loose leash most of the time and was really good. He is very gentle to take treats and sits when directed. Pluto is a great one!Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal.
