Story
Red adores being with his people and will happily curl up in your lap or rest his head on your leg for pets. He’s a playful guy who enjoys wrestling and zooming around the yard with dog friends, and he’s been wonderfully friendly and gentle with every dog he’s met on walks. Big dogs, small dogs—he loves them all! After outdoor adventures or hikes in the woods, Red is ready for a cozy nap paired with his irresistible pitty snores. He’s settling in well, mostly housebroken, and has shown great manners when left alone. His leash skills are coming along, too!Red is a fun, social, happy pup who would thrive in a busy home that enjoys playtime, companionship, and lots of love. Story
Hibiscus had a great time in her short-term foster home. She`s house-trained, walks politely on leash, and has been nothing but friendly with every dog she’s met. Her best feature is her wrinkly face and wiggly puppy body! She met some in Volunteer Park and loves saying high to strangers on the sidewalk. She can be a little shy at first with both people and dogs, but she warms up quickly and shows her playful, affectionate side. At just 1.5 years old, she has great energy and loves having company. She’s even learned to play fetch indoors. Check out her video! Hibiscus is ready for an adopter who can give her companionship, fun, and a place to truly bloom.Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. Story
HI - I'M FLETCH! I'm a handsome and friendly almost 2-year-old brindle & white Pit Bull Terrier pup in need of a forever home. I'm a perfect ambassador of my breed! I get along great with all dogs and cats, and am a sweetheart with all people. I'm currently in a foster home in Bothell, where I spend my days with dogs & cats! I also love to go for walks and take naps! Awhile back I was rescued from a scary California shelter in the nick of time. I became urgent because I simply had a cold. Now I'm doing great, and am a happy pup! I'm a lovable boy who is a joy to have around. I love to play and wrestle with other dogs. I'm also good with kids though would do best with kids over 8 due to my size. I'm very loving and eager to please. I weigh about 75 lbs currently. Please email for an application.

Story
Meet Jack! Jack is a 1-year-old Pit mix who is playful, affectionate, and full of personality. He is best friends with fellow SGA dog Xarpo, and with proper introductions, he enjoys playing with other dogs too. He is still polishing his social skills (he can be a little too enthusiastic with the licking), but he is actively working on that and responds well to guidance. This young guy loves engagement and connection, especially when treats are involved. Jack is food motivated, adores training, and truly enjoys learning because it gives him a job and your attention. He is house trained, crate trained, and very respectful with his belongings. He happily shares toys and space with others. While Jack enjoys affection and playtime, he also has a sweet independent side and can entertain himself when needed. New people and dogs can make him a bit hesitant at first. He is a 'brave on the outside, chicken on the inside' kind of guy. With patience and positive reinforcement, his confidence continues to grow. Jack is energetic and would love an active home where he can go on hikes, adventures, and burn off some of that young-dog energy. He plays loudly and can be a little vocal when he is having fun - he just gets really into the moment. Despite being ten times their size, he is actually afraid of cats, which only adds to his charm. Jack would do best in a home with adults or older children (over 12) who can appreciate his enthusiasm and help guide him as he grows.  He is vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $350 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
