Story
We adopted Gracie almost 2 years ago and she is the best people dog but just does not get along with my other dog we had before her. She is the sweetest dog when it comes to myself and my family and she absolutely adores my kids but is just not the right fit for a home with another dog. She is house trained and leash trained and would definitely need a fenced in yard. No adoption fee is being asked because we really just want to make sure she goes to a good loving home because she deserves it.

Story
Lagertha is a super sweet energetic dog. She gets along with other dogs and kids. She was getting along with our house cat. But her and the other dog ended up getting in an unexpected fight with the cat and the cat didn’t make it. Normally they would be cuddled together and nice to each other. We don’t really know what happened cat might’ve swung at the dog and it just escalated. We are rehoming her because we have a 2 year old and we just don’t want to take a chance. Lagertha is super sweet otherwise which makes this very surprising. But she would probably be better off in a house with no cats. Or just being completely supervised. Her mom is a papered XL Bully. So she is half XL Bully quarter bully and quarter pit. She loves to cuddle with people and animals and wants to be on top of you. She is not toy or food aggressive. And had never shown any sign of aggression other than the attack on the cat.

Story
Hello, meet Jiff. He recently went on an outing to the dog groomers and was a very good boy, loading into the tub and being bathed. He did well in the car and was polite out and about. Jiff has lived in a home previously so knows how to behave and is housetrained. Jiff loves treats, we`re not sure if peanut butter is his favorite but he knows how to sit and stay on command. Story
Kringle is ready for the Holidays! He is very food motivated and takes treats very gently. His absolute favorite thing is to run around in circles in our play yard. He loves playing with soft toys or tennis balls and prances like a deer. I think he is a year or younger and he is quite puppylike and goofy in his mannerisms, like a wobbly newborn calf! He doesn`t really know much but is trying so hard to understand the world and has such optimism that his hopeful nature is contagious. Meet him daily from 1pm to 5pm except Monday.

Story
`Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight; I wish I may, I wish I might… have the wish I wish tonight. I wish YOU would adopt ME!`This sweet, playful pup is ready to brighten someone’s life! Starlight is an affectionate, active teenager who loves nothing more than playing tug, fetching tennis balls, and soaking up belly rubs from her favorite humans. She’s eager to please, fully potty trained, and making great progress with crate training and basic commands like sit and down.Starlight is very food-motivated, making her a quick learner - she’s already improving her leash manners and impulse control at doorways. While she’s still figuring out her feelings about other dogs, she’s showing great progress in checking in with her foster on walks.Because she’s fascinated by small critters, a home without cats would be best for this enthusiastic girl. She’d love access to a yard but does just fine borrowing friends’ fenced spaces or visiting SniffSpots. Most of all, she wants a patient, loving adopter who will continue helping her build confidence. Her foster says Starlight is one of the sweetest pups she’s ever met - full of love, snuggles, and playful energy. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will adore you endlessly, Starlight just might be your perfect match! The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Meet Queen! Queen is a patient office dog who`s perfectly happy snoozing in a sploot on her blanket while you work. She loves her treats and many toys. Plus, she has had zero accidents when an office pup, so we`re pretty sure her potty-training skills are top-tier. Sweet, friendly and lowkey, Queen is ready to rule your home with love and her contagious charm.
