Adoption Fee: $375 + $200 s/n deposit All animals are UTD on vaccines (may need boosters) and microchipped From the foster: Arthur (270) is the little brother in his pack of 3. He is a little smaller but that doesn't slow him down a bit. He is still willing to run, explore and never backs down from a good game of tug or an epic wrestling match. He loves other dogs. He enjoys playing hard and then snuggling with his littermates in a big puppy pile. Arthur would be thrilled in any home that gives him attention and kibble. He is a simple fellow that gets excited by the little things in life. Arthur is starting to catch on to potty training. Currently the leash is still more of a toy than a guide to walk with. He is a smart, sweet boy that will catch onto training with a consistent routine. Learn how to adopt me: www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Adoption Fee: $475 - I'm already neutered! All animals are UTD on vaccines (may need boosters) and microchipped From the foster: Chewy is a 1 year old heeler with a heart of gold and boundless energy! In his foster home, he reveled in playtime with a 25-pound companion and became an expert snuggler! His herding instincts make him eager for a job, whether it's playful companionship or exploring new surroundings during walks. Although he's still learning leash manners, a little guidance and lots of toys will make him your loyal and loving companion. Chewy is a pro at crate time, a fantastic sleeper, and fully potty-trained. With a big personality packed into a compact body, he's sure to bring joy and laughter to any household that understands and appreciates the unique traits of herding dogs. Story
Adoption Fee: $375 + $200 s/n deposit All animals are UTD on vaccines (may need boosters) and microchipped From the foster: Introducing Speckles! (aka puppy 328) If you're thinking she's the puppy you've been looking for, you are probably right. Speckles is a delightful cattle dog mix who has been bringing us joy since the moment we picked her up to foster. She is happy-go-lucky and considers everyone a fast friend. Whether she's romping outside chasing one, or all three, of our large resident dogs, she's guaranteed to have a big grin and happy tail wags. She loves to play and then dive bomb you with kisses real quick, then back to the running! It's the cutest! Speckles has a good bit of puppy energy and uses it to zoom, chase, and nibble her littermate, toys, and sometimes yes your fingers or shoelaces. She's just a baby so she is learning, but is easily redirected to appropriate chew items. After some playtime, she will be VERY happy to curl up in, or across, your lap for snuggles. Speckles and her littermate slept in a cozy crate with a puppy pen and were fairly successful at using newspapers for potty overnight and even when out loose playing during the day. They certainly recognize it for toileting, though the aim is about 75% accurate. It;s sure to improve with more training and consistency. Speckles did a bit of whining at bedtime but quickly quieted down. She'll surely be missing her littermates in a new home so please give her lots of patience, cozy stuffys (Snuggle Puppies are especially helpful with the heartbeat inside!), and reassurance until she is used to being away from her sibs. Speckles is the perfect companion for anyone seeking adventure, love, and a devoted friend. Learn how to adopt me: www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Story
Thankful for her second chance at life, 3-year-old Teeny Tiny is slowly learning to trust again. As she settles into her foster home, the sweet, shy and submissive 29-pound beauty now wags her tail at her foster mom, and the yearning look in her eyes clearly says, “pet me and love on me.” Moderately energetic, she enjoys going for walks, playing with and taking her soft toys outside and chewing on bones. Good with similar sized dogs and large ones, motivated by food and love, she accepts all treats gently, but currently knows no commands. Leash and crate trained and almost fully house-trained, Teeny Tiny is best suited to a tranquil home, perhaps with a canine companion, and especially patient adopters who will earn her trust, teach her her commands, and ultimately reap the benefits of watching her bloom.   Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!! Hi! My name is Damon! I'm a 8 mont old heeler mix and can't wait to meet you! My foster mom says I am the perfect medium size, I am already potty trained so I take a lot of the stress out of a new dog but still with the puppy energy and playfulness and lots to learn. I love everyone, dogs and people alike, and I believe everyone is here to see me. I am happy to be your greeter and your doorbell by letting you know someone is outside- I must protect this house but also let people know I am here and they can come say hi and make a new friend. I love to play with my foster siblings, both dogs and people. I love car rides and don't understand why my foster siblings leave me during the day when I take them to school. When they are at school I play with my foster dog friends or lay on my bed or in my kennel while my foster mom works. I snuggle with my foster mom, and my foster brother is really good at letting me love him.  Snuggles are my favorite way to spend the evening to wind down. I love to go on walks, we are working on my leash skills, and soon, I will be ready to explore more of what Colorado has to offer once my forever family comes along. I can't wait to meet you! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1819785##

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Calling all lovers of large dogs! Say hello to Emory, a Heinz 57 mix who is 100% awesome and ready to steal your heart. This mellow and super smart lady weighs 66lbs and is an amazing young adult. Emory is a social butterfly, getting along great with kids and other pups. While she hasn't been tested with cats, her foster home believes she would do well with them too. She's already mastered the art of being a well-mannered houseguest—house trained, crate trained, and knowledgeable in basic commands like sit, stay, and come. With Emory, you get the best of both worlds. She has the perfect balance of energy for play and is incredibly well behaved indoors. You won't have to worry about her chewing on things she shouldn't. Taking her for walks is an absolute pleasure, as she does exceptionally well on a leash, even when passing other dogs, humans, and even horses. At about 2 years old, Emory is at the prime of her life, and she's up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped, ensuring she's healthy and ready for her forever home. If you're searching for a large lap dog with a lot of love to offer, Emory is the perfect match for you! Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! I'm delighted to meet you! My name is Ruxpin, and I’m a sweet, fun-loving 1-year-old cattle dog mix. Much like my namesake, I've got a gorgeous tan color, and I'm so soft people love to hug me! I'm about as sweet as them come with a very fun personality! I’m a well-mannered boy, and I take cues really well from the people and dogs around me. I do have typical 1-year-old dog energy, but nothing that playtime or a few walks won’t take care of! I do want to play with other dogs, but I have shown a lot of respect for the dogs around me, and I am a pretty appropriate dog when meeting others. All I want in this world is to please my people, and I'll be a quick study with food motivation and a desire to impress! I have basic leash manners and make for a really enjoyable walk partner. At the end of the day, I want to cuddle up with my own humans; I truly love people and enjoy spending time with them! In previous foster homes, I was considered a real cuddlebug, and that is something I display at all times as well. I would thrive in a home with all kinds of people, big and small; I love all other dogs but would LOVE a friend to play with! I will need a yard to play in or someone who can take me on a long walk or two a day. I'm an energetic partner in crime looking for his forever home!  Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1973843##

Toby is an extremely handsome almost 6mo old Cattle Dog Mix.  He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped.
