Story
K-Pop wants one thing from life: for his person to never stop loving him. He is deaf, so he relies on visual cues on how to respond to people and other dogs and adores being petted and close to someone who is giving him attention. Kevin is a "perfectly sized" small-medium young adult dog, about three years old and fully grown at 39 pounds, neutered, housetrained, and crate trained. Currently this fluffernutter sweetheart is in foster in the Durango, Colorado, area, and living with other adult dogs of various sizes. Kevin is accurately described as a "velcro dog" who often wants to accompany his people throughout the house, to make sure he's not missing out on any head pets or loving looks into his face, but he also naps long and hard... sometimes he chooses to seclude himself in a comfy crate. Kevin has the softest white fur with some spots mixed in for good measure (especially on his floppy ears), hazel colored eyes, and an adorable stumpy tail that he wags furiously to let you know how happy he is to be with you. He loves his daily walks with his foster family and gets cases of the playful zoomies sometimes (especially after he wades in a stream or even gets his feet wet) but overall Kevin is a low-key "chill" dog who is 100% good with being a couch potato. He walks well on a leash / martingale collar and certainly enjoys getting his sniff on to get a daily update on the world through his dark pink shnoze. He is currently accustomed to a 40-minute walk each morning and then the rest of his daily schedule is booked out with doing nothing. Note: if you're not crazy about his name, no worries, you can call him whatever you want to... he won't know the difference. He just knows to recognize love and attention from his people, and to return it to them with all his huge doggie heart. If you'd like to come meet a very unique boy currently called "K-pop" in Durango, Colorado area to see if he's the furever family member for you, please submit an adoption application to RezDawg Rescue today! ##2483358##

Lead dog, needs a home that will keep an eye on her; she would love not to have so much responsibility going forward (looking out for and training pups LOL The SW Shed dogs were found by Rezdawg locked in a shed. The owner dropped food for them but they were never allowed out. He had no idea how many of them there were and of course they had never been to a vet or socialized in any positive way :( Due to the circumstances these dogs were found in, they are going to need specific situations: Need to stay in martingale collar and leash drag until dogs are bonded to people/place NOT allowed off leash (for longer than most dogs) HOLD space for them (for longer than most dogs) They have never been without their siblings, this will take some adjustment They also only know how to play they way they did with their siblings, this may take a patience and a solid dog to help them with Dogs are their main language and what they like/know better than us – they will struggle if there isn’t one around They came from an absolutely quiet area into another relatively quiet one; traffic, people, normal stuff is going to be stressful for them; treat them more like a cat than a dog….no outings, let them get comfy at home and find their footings without the chaos of people, life and the environment. Incl no walks until they really settle in. They should wear a tracking device 24/7 for their first 8mo (apple airtag as a last resort) ##2447564##

Story
Meet Opal Opal is a 6-month-old puppy who’s ready to make up for lost time. She had a slow start in life due to a broken leg, but she’s healed up and officially cleared to begin her next big adventure—finding a forever home.Because of her early injury, Opal didn’t get as much exposure to other dogs as a typical puppy, so she’ll benefit from patient introductions and continued socialization. She will do best with an experienced, confident adopter who understands puppy development and can provide thoughtful socialization, clear boundaries, and consistent training. She’s still learning some basics, but she’s smart, sweet, eager to engage with her people, and ready to learn with the right guidance.Opal is full of youthful energy and curiosity. She loves to move, explore, and soak up attention, and she’s happiest when she’s with her people. With consistency, structure, and love, Opal is going to blossom into an amazing companion. If you’re looking for a resilient, energetic pup with a heart of gold and a bright future ahead, Opal just might be your girl. ##2570363##

Story
My name is Tessa, and I am a 9 year old pure-bred mini Australian Shepherd. I have been with one family for most of my life, but almost 2 years ago one of my humans passed away and my other one couldn't take care of me anymore. I have since been with my new family, but they have little children who make me really anxious and scared. I do best in a calm environment where I am the center of attention. Please no children, unless they are older (12 years +) and know how to be calm around me. I grew up with other pets, and can do well with other dogs, I just need to be slowly introduced. I do love cats and do great with them in the home. I am overall a really sweet girl, and will stick to you like glue once I get to know you! I take anxiety medication currently, and am on a special diet because I am overweight. I am up-to-date on all vaccines and will have a copy of my medical records upon adoption with me.
