Story
I adopted Molly when she was 4 years old in July of 2008, so she'll be 20 this July. Molly was my best friend for the last 16 years and went everywhere with me: hiking, boat rides, vacation, car trips, you name it. She has had two doggy brothers and a cat friend who she's outlived by many years. She's an Australian cattle dog and lives on many acres, so she loves to be outside and run, even though she's (a little) slower now. She will try to "herd" strangers occasionally and loves to chase after rabbits, but has only ever been (mildly) aggressive once when another male dog tried to hump her at the dog park (consent is important to her I guess!) She will be an excellent companion for anyone, and I am heartbroken to be rehoming her, but we are only home for a few hours a day anymore working multiple jobs and I do not want her last years to be lonely and locked up. She is losing her hearing a little bit, but is still active and loves life!

Story
Check out Ricky and his handsome and unusual markings  We have never seen a cattle dog mix with more gorgeous coloring. You can see his intelligence shining through in his inquisitive eyes but he also harbors a gentle and snuggly side that can be unusual in cattle dogs. While he certainly enjoys playing with his canine friends, Ricky settles nicely in the house and is well behaved. His foster dad tells us Ricky likes to snuggle on the coudh most of the day. If he wasn't coaxed out by the other dogs in his foster home he might choose to lounge most of the day. Ricky is house trained and this bright boy is sure to be a quick study for whatever his forever family wants to teach him. He thrivies on pleasing his people and cattle dogs are known for their smart demeanors. Ricky is outgoing and friendly with both canines and humans and will fit in nicely in most any situation. Story
Rusty is looking for a home to call his own. Once he knows you, he loves to get pets and does not mind cuddles. Rusty is fully crate-trained and potty-trained in his foster home. Russell does well walking on a leash. He knows sit, down roll-over, and is working on other basic commands with his foster mom!  He is so treat-motivated he is easy to work with! Russell would love a playmate to run around and play with who is respectful and will give him time to warm up to them (he can be a new doggie shy doggie for a few minutes). Rusty’s ideal home would have a fenced backyard where he can sunbathe and run around with his new friends once he knows them all. Please consider welcoming this boy into your family! His  adoption fee is $250 Put in an application at eapl.comApril 27, 2024, 6:40 pm

Story
Little softie! Ojo's inexperienced living alongside a family in the way dogs do here in Colorado, and can become a little wide-eyed when there's a lot of hustle and bustle around him. Good time to learn, though, tapping into his playful teenage inclination helps him get their faster. A gentle family that can cheerlead his successes would be ideal, and we recommend life alongside a well-adjusted dog friend to help him find his footing. Older children may be most comfortable for Ojo at this time. Primary Color: Tri Color Secondary Color: White Weight: 42.2 Age: 0yrs 11mths 0wks
