Story
Meet Louie. My sweet, high energy 13-year-old who definitely doesn’t act his age. He’s around 40 lbs and loves sleeping in the bed or on anything soft. He’s a total sucker for belly rubs, being babied, and soaking up attention. Louie has lived around many dogs, but in his older age he can be iffy with dogs his size or larger, though he loves small dogs. He’s been separated from his brother for boarding during travel with no issues. With my long work hours, I’m not able to give him the consistent time and comfort he really thrives on. Louie would do best in a home that wants an affectionate, people-oriented dog with lots of personality and love to give.

Story
The world’s most loveable sweet dog. I adopted sweet boy Knight around March and he has grown to be so loving. He needs to burn energy everyday, along with tons of pets and cuddles. He does have a sensitive stomach and can get bored very easily. He loves other humans and dogs, but a bit shy around kids. I’m not sure about cats. He’s ready for a new home and for someone to love him the way he deserves.

Story
Marigold was brought into the shelter as a stray. She is between 1-3 years old. She is a very sweet, loving girl, but would benefit from an owner that has experience with rescues and/or cattle dogs. She is in group training and starting a 1:1 training session this week. She is reactive on leash when seeing other dogs and needs help with leash training which we are working on. She is a high energy dog. She is house trained. She knows basic commands such as sit/ stay/ down.

Story
Ferris is very athletic, smart, and loving. We have had him since he was a puppy but having a child we noticed he started resource guarding our sons toys with his dog brother. He does good with older kids and female dogs but we think his best environment would be a only animal or female dog, older kid house with an active owner. He has tons of energy and needs training on a leash. We have a large backyard so we didn't take him on walks much. He loves to play fetch, doing tasks for you, and cuddling. He enjoys camping and spending time outside. He is kennel trained, dog door trained, and knows all the basic and some advanced tricks. We would like to keep in touch with whoever adopts him because we do consider Ferris family.

Story
Meet Macks, a 5-year-old Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix with a heart full of potential and a loving spirit. Macks was surrendered to a high-kill shelter after her previous owner passed away, and she’s now looking for a new family to give her the love and stability she deserves. Initially anxious and a bit flighty, Macks requires some time to build trust. However, once she feels secure, she becomes an incredibly affectionate and well-behaved companion. Macks is not fond of other dogs or cats, so she would do best in a home where she can be the only pet. She will thrive in a household with middle school-aged children or older, or with adults who can provide her with the patience and care she needs to feel at ease. If you're looking for a loyal and loving dog who will become deeply attached to her new family, Macks is ready to bring her devotion and warmth into your home.
