Story
Meet Fleetwood! While Fleetwood may be shy at first, his heart of gold shines right through that protective layer he keeps on himself! Sadly, Fleetwood was found as a stray in the desert and we're not sure how he was treated by humans before. Despite that, there is not a bad bone in his big body! Fleetwood loves other dogs and would really love another friend in the home to help him come out of his shell and give him another snuggle buddy!

Story
Macks is a beautiful and kind cattle dog/shepherd mix who was surrendered to a high kill shelter as a result of her owner passing away. She can be shy when first meeting new people at first, but when she's warmed up, she is a very affectionate girl. She needs a loving and patient adopter who can give her the time and love that she needs to feel welcome in her new home.

Story
Sonnet aka Nettie (Nettie Spaghetti) is a sweet, energetic, smart, and charismatic blue heeler mix. She loves people and gets comfortable with them quickly, is the perfect walking buddy, and is super receptive to learning new commands. She is about 40lbs, fully potty trained and crate trained, sometimes she hangs out in her crate during the day as well! Nettie is extremely intelligent and picks up on training super quickly and would do well with someone who is willing to continue working with her and is very active, she loves to walk, run, and hike. She would do best with someone who works from home as she can get bored quickly. She does fine out of her crate while her foster is gone, but after she get the appropriate exercise. She is also a pro at using the doggie door! Nettie likes to play with her toys in the yard, and would not do well in an apartment. She is still getting comfortable with other dogs and has been working with a trainer. She loves to play with other dogs but can get quite energetic and is still learning that not all dogs want to play. She is not aggressive with dogs, just very excited! She has made incredible progress over the past few months. She has had play dates with calmer dogs and has done really well, but is still unsure about meeting new dogs on leash. It would be wonderful for her to be with someone who can keep that momentum going! She has a ton of love to give and would be the perfect forever family! ##1711495##

Story
Katniss is such a love bug. She loves loves loves cuddling right up on your chest and taking a snooze. She’s a puppy with a lot of energy, but she is a napping machine, so once you get that out of her. Bed time is hard for her, I think she has seperation anxiety, so crates are not really her thing. We first had her in a small crate, which wasn’t great, so we put her in a large crate, and she did better. However, she will fall right to sleep in bed with you, no accidents, and will sleep the whole night. She also doesn’t like loud noises, especially yelling (we took her to our soccer game and got pretty scared by the raised voices). But, once picked up and comforted, she was right back to herself. Balls and extra hard chew toys for this teething baby are a must and SO helpful when you need 20 minutes of silence. Katniss is a bright and sassy girl. She is a quick learner and now knows her basic commands: sit, stay, and come, but she is still learning that her bathroom is not inside. We also trained Katniss off-leash, and that was SO easy for her. She follows our other dogs and doesn’t leave our sides. She is a shadow; wherever you go, she’s right there: in the bathroom, shower, and working, there is no personal space with her. Katniss is in a home with mountain climbers, hikers, and skiers, and she has already done her first 13er, a 7 and a 10-mile hike, which she thrived! She will let you know when she’s tired, wants to be held, and is hungry! She’s got a hollow leg. She also loves playing with the big boys but doesn’t understand boundaries yet, so our two dogs are not hesitant to teach her. She does well with all the dogs she’s met and goes up to every person around her! We’re unsure about kids, but her entire personality is cheerful, playful, and loving, so no doubt she wouldn’t be good with anyone that comes along. Katniss is a blessing and would do well in an active, over-loving family. ##2073343##

Story
Meet Daisy, the adorable 38 lb cattle dog with a heart of gold! This sweet girl is the epitome of cuddliness, always ready to melt into your arms for a snuggle. Daisy is a firm believer that belly rubs make everything better.  Despite her initial shyness, Daisy is a social butterfly once she warms up to new furry friends. She would love a home with another submissive dog as those with a more aggressive play style give her some pause. She approaches every encounter with a gentle curiosity and a wagging tail, making fast friends with other dogs who share her friendly disposition. Daisy would also be ok in a home where she’s the only pup - she loves humans! Daisy is a model student in both crate and potty training. She understands the importance of good behavior and is always eager to please her humans. She even loves alone time in her crate, making her a great candidate for someone with a busy lifestyle! Daisy would do well in almost any kind of home - apartment, townhome, or house with yard. She likes to go on long walks and the occasional hike.  In search of her forever home, Daisy brings a lot of love, loyalty, and a never-ending supply of cuddles to share with her lucky adopters. With her by your side, every day is brighter, warmer, and filled with tail wags. ##2078810##
