Story
Meet Charlee — a quiet survivor with a heart full of hope Charlee’s story began in heartbreak. She was found dumped in a canyon alongside what appeared to be her littermate. Tragically, the other dog was struck by a car and didn’t survive. Charlee, terrified and alone, had to be humanely trapped to get her to safety. Through it all, even when she was scared out of her mind, she allowed the vet clinic staff to handle her with grace and trust — a true testament to the gentle soul she is. Charlee is about a year old, around 35 pounds, and looks to be a Heeler-type mix. She is currently being lovingly boarded at the vet clinic that rescued her, and we are helping find her the safe, patient forever home she so deeply deserves. She is very timid, especially when meeting new people, dogs, or cats — but there’s a quiet intelligence behind those cautious eyes. Charlee picks up on routines quickly and appears to be house-trained and crate-trained. She does well with other dogs and cats, provided introductions are calm and slow. Because of her sensitive nature, Charlee would thrive in a quiet, low-traffic home with understanding adults and no loud or boisterous children. She needs someone who will let her move at her own pace, show her that the world can be kind, and celebrate the small victories as her confidence grows. Charlee isn’t the dog who will run up and demand attention — she’s the one who will slowly learn to trust, then love deeply and loyally once she feels safe. If you believe the best relationships are built on patience, compassion, and quiet moments, Charlee just might be your perfect match. Sometimes the bravest dogs are the softest ones. If you would like to adopt please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2652814##

Story
Rescue isn’t always soft ears and cute fluffy puppies. Sometimes rescue is a dog who has survived something she never should have had to.Meet Pepper. Pepper was very pregnant when she was found. A rancher roped her with a lariat, and when she panicked — because of course she did — the rope only tightened around her neck. The more she fought for air and safety, the worse it became. You can picture the fear. The confusion. The sheer desperation of a mother about to give birth, dragged and restrained. That memory didn’t just disappear when she was rescued. Pepper still has an aversion to leashes and hands reaching toward her collar. We’ve had her about a month, and only now is she beginning to be comfortable with a leash being clipped on. She is not yet walking on leash yet. Not because she’s stubborn. Because trauma leaves marks you can’t see. Pepper needs more than an adopter. She needs an angel. Despite everything, Pepper is gentle. She is tender. She is trying. She watches quietly from her cozy hideaway, taking it all in. She doesn’t rush. She doesn’t demand. But when she decides you are safe? It’s sacred. She comes when called. She tiptoes over for affection. She curls into you on the couch like she’s been waiting her whole life to exhale. Her love is not loud. It’s earned. And when you earn it, it feels like the greatest gift in the world. Crates are too much for her right now. Confinement reminds her of fear. She deserves space, softness, choice. With other dogs? She’s different. Light. Silly. Spunky. She currently lives with a male Hound mix and adores him — they nap together, play together, move through the house side by side. She previously lived peacefully with four adult dogs of all sizes. Other dogs bring out the version of Pepper that we know and love. She's relaxed, joyful, playful. With new people, she is still shy. Careful .Pepper is intelligent. She wants to learn. You can see her thinking through her fear. With patience, gentle encouragement, and especially a confident canine companion to show her the ropes, she will continue to blossom. Slowly. Beautifully. Pepper is looking for: A patient, deeply kind adopter A home with another friendly, confident dog Someone who understands that healing isn’t linear A family who sees the beauty in sensitive souls This is not a “plug and play” dog. Pepper will not march into your life on a leash with instant confidence. But if you have ever wanted to be someone’s safe place — the one they choose, the one they trust, the one who rewrites their story — Pepper is waiting. She survived. She protected her babies. She is still here. Now she just needs someone who will never tighten the rope again. About Pepper:• Approximately 2 years old• 37 pounds — the perfect in-between size• House mannered and respectful in the home• Dog-friendly and happiest with a canine companion Pepper needs someone to believe in her. If you would like to adopt/foster please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2594816##

Say Hi to Opal! Opal is a young Australian Cattle Dog mix with a bright, curious mind and the most endearing markings. She’s what we lovingly call a rez dog, which means she likely carries a little medley of several breeds in her DNA — a beautiful blend that adds to her uniqueness and charm. Mixed-breed dogs like Opal are often the best of all worlds: resilient, healthy, adaptable, and deeply loyal. Despite the uncertainty of her past, Opal has chosen joy. She is happy, well-adjusted, and eager to connect, showing us every day that dogs don’t dwell on what they lost — they focus on what they might still gain. She’s smart without being overwhelming, affectionate without being demanding, and carries herself with a quiet sweetness that tugs straight at your heart. Nice energy and temperament! Sweet and demur, this handsome fella is named Miso! Miso’s life began in the back of an abandoned, wrecked SUV on the Navajo Nation. Tucked away with his litter, he faced the world with nothing but his mama and siblings to stay warm. When someone reached out for help, we didn’t hesitate. We quickly gathered Miso and his family and got them to safety—and to a better life. Today, Miso is happy, playful and utterly in love with life. You can’t help but smile when you see him with his content and grateful demeanor—especially knowing where he started. Miso has all but forgotten his challenging beginnings and his days are filled with play-time with his puppy pals, plenty of nutritious food and of course an abundance of love and attention. Miso is a rez dog, a beautiful blend of mystery and strength. His mama is an Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix with striking blue eyes, and we suspect Miso may have many different breeds in his DNA—adding to his charm and big-hearted nature. Like so many mixed-breed dogs, he’s smart, loyal, and wonderfully well-balanced. His energy is a little more quiet than some puppies his age and observes and considers the things around him. He is the smallest in his litter of 9. Of course he is always ready to curl up in your lap for some quiet snuggle time. This adorable pup is eager to make someone else’s life brighter, warmer, and a whole lot happier—just as rescue did for him.. This beauty is Lexi! She is an approximately 1-year-old, 36-pound stunner with the kind of looks that garner compliments from strangers and passersby. Her gorgeous tri-colored coat and striking blue eyes hint at some Australian Shepherd in her mix — but Lexi is even better than a purebred. She’s a rez dog, made up of many breeds, which often means healthier, sturdier, and wonderfully well-balanced genetics.  Lexi came to us from the Navajo Nation, where she lived alongside many different dogs. She is friendly and social with other dogs and loves her foster dog sister.  Lexi is the kind of dog who bonds deeply with her people and blossoms with kindness and consistency. If will take her time to feel safe in a new environment to she needs someone who is patient and understanding of shy dogs. Lexi recently learned how to walk on leash and it has been a big boost to her confidence. She is still cautious when experiencing new places. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with beauty, heart, and so much potential, Lexi may be the one you’ve been waiting for   Adopt Lexi and give this special girl the chance to fully shine. Meet LaSalle! LaSalle is a very sweet and active adult Aussie mix who knows how to balance fun with relaxation. He loves going on walks and getting his energy out, but he’s equally happy curling up for a good nap afterward. He tends to have bursts of playful energy followed by chill downtime — the best of both worlds! This handsome guy is incredibly friendly with people and thrives on human affection. One of his favorite pastimes is playing fetch with his ball, especially if there’s peanut butter involved (his absolute favorite treat!). LaSalle is slowly warming up to other dogs and does best with dogs similar to his size and energy. He’s not a fan of huskies or dogs much smaller than him, so he’d do best with thoughtful introductions and possibly being the only dog or with a well-matched canine companion.  LaSalle is looking for a loving home that will give him patience, structure, and plenty of opportunities for walks, play, and naps. In return, he’ll give you endless sweetness, loyalty, and companionship. Could LaSalle be your perfect match?  ##2656040##

Story
Hi, I’m Perdida! I’m a shy girl who’s slowly but surely coming out of my shell. I’m sweetest when I feel safe, and once I do, you’ll start to see my playful side peek through. I love other dogs and really thrive with a confident canine buddy, bonus points if they like to play and can show me the way. I’m still learning to trust people, but I’m curious and making progress every day. I enjoy pets and scratches, and while I’m not a full-on cuddler yet, I’m definitely testing the waters. I’m still a work in progress with potty training, but I’m learning by following my foster sister outside and improving all the time. I can already make it through the night without needing a potty break, which I’m pretty proud of. I would do best in a home with a fenced in yard, since I have not worked my way up to walks yet. A safe outdoor space where I can explore and play at my own pace helps me feel confident. If you have patience, a playful and confident pup at home, and room in your heart for a gentle soul who’s growing braver by the day, I’d love to meet you. Note to adopters: Please only apply if you have another dog in the house ##2655065##
