* Champion snuggler seeks cuddlecompanion(s)* Faster than a greyhound (maybe)* Medium energyLoves hikes, walks, laying in the sun, snuggling, cats, dogs (especially little dogs), treats, sitting, shaking7 years old62 lbsMicro chippedJust had his teeth cleanedCurrent on vaccinesDrake is a mellow "sun pig" who likes to sunbathe, snuggle and show you his toys. He is an incredible dog! We went and had a kid, and their chaotic energy is stressing Drake out. They jump onto him, pull his tail and get into his face. All incidents have been strongly provoked by our kiddo. He has nipped them but has never broken skin. For clarity, Drake did well for 5 years with our kid, but now our kid is getting more advanced with how they are engaging with him. Its too long a road until our kid will have a fully formed frontal lobe.Drake deserves a home where he can feel safe and is best for a home with adults or children old enough to have impulse control. Adoption fee will be donated 2 a local pet rescue!

Story
This sweet boy may need a bit of time to shake off his shelter stress- gentle support, lots of sweet touches, and treats will be the way to his heart. He'll appreciate a low-traffic neighborhood at this time. Kenny is a sensitive, thoughtful dog who thrives with patience and kindness. He can be a bit shy when first approached for his walk, but once he's outside, his confidence grows. Kenny loves a good sniffy walk, taking his time to explore the world with his nose leading the way. He's a big fan of tasty treats, sits politely when asked, and leans in sweetly for gentle petting from his favorite people. On walks, our walkers help him refocus by tossing treats on the ground and playing the "find it" game, which he enjoys and responds to beautifully.Kenny is recommended for an introduction to your dogs at the shelter if considering a multi-dog home, and he's looking for a home without children or cats. Story
Meet Lizzie — 40 lbs of Pure Love Lizzie is the kind of dog who makes you wonder how you ever lived without her. Sweet, social, and full of heart, this lovable girl is looking for her forever family — and she just might be yours. Lizzie is a people magnet. She adores adults, kids, and her fellow furry friends alike, and she thrives at the dog park where she can run, romp, and make new pals. She loves a good game of fetch and brings the same enthusiasm to playtime as she does to cuddle time. She's already got a solid foundation — she knows sit, down, and stay, and is fully potty trained. She's still polishing her manners (who isn't?), but her eagerness to please makes training a joy. A little patience goes a long way with this girl. One note: Lizzie and chickens are not meant to be. A home without backyard poultry would be her perfect match! If you're looking for a dog with a warm personality, a playful spirit, and a whole lot of love to give, Lizzie is ready to steal your heart — and your spot on the couch. Come meet her. We dare you not to fall in love  Ready to meet your perfect sidekick? Apply today at eapl.com!  Adoption fee: $375  May 19, 2026, 6:34 pm

Story
Lady, cattledog mix, 5 yo, 60 lb, spayed femaleLady is thin long-legged cattledog mix with the cutest face and floppy ears. She is curious and fascinated by all kinds of things. Lady spent months and months in limbo in boarding and was happy to join our gang and have a choice of playmates.  She is young and active, and needs a fenced yard.  Lady finds it most comforting to lie down close to you especially if she can somehow lean into you. It is hard to understand how this gentle angel, still almost a puppy, could be abandoned. We so hope to find stable loving home for her. Adoption fee $325.
