    Meet Sugar Plum: All Around Great Dog!  This is Sugar Plum! Her smile is genuine, and this happy girl is always smiling!    Sugar Plum is approximately 1.5 years old and is a perfect size at roughly 45 pounds. She is potty trained, crate trained, and knows many basic commands including “sit”, “down”, and “stay”.  You would never know by her friendly outgoing and happy demeanor that Sugar Plum had a rough start in life.  As a puppy she was hit by a car, left untreated and eventually had one leg amputated. Sugar Plum bounced back beautifully, and her disposition is still sweeter and happier than just about any dog you’ll ever meet.  Because of the amputation Sugar Plum is a tripod, but don’t let that dampen your enthusiasm because it doesn’t slow her down one bit!  She doesn’t notice it, and neither will you when you meet her. She is a wonderful role model for people to see! Sugar Plum would fit right in with an active lifestyle and someone that will appreciate her fun spirit and loving companionship. She does great with people, kids and other dogs, but we do think her youthful puppy energy might be a bit much for smaller children. His current caretakers are an elderly couple, in their 80's, who stepped in to help when a family member could no longer care for him due to medical issues. While they adore Mason, he's a bit too energetic for their lifestyle, and they want to make sure he finds a home that can keep up with him. Mason's ideal home would be an active family with older children or no children. He hasn't spent time with kids but has not shown any aggression toward them. Mason Is good with other dogs and would also be ok as the only dog in the home. Mason is up to date on vaccinations and is fully crate trained and house trained! He is a love bug, full of heart and is awaiting his next adventure!    Please consider helping this sweet adorable guy and apply today!
