Tina is a friendly and playful girl who loves treats. She is so affectionate, silly and full of joy. She also loves to run in the play yard as well as be by your side. Tina gets along with people and other dogs. We do not know what she thinks of cats. She is an energetic gal looking for an active family to do things with and would love a yard to run around in. Tina is about 2 years old and 30 pounds. Please help Tina find the loving home she deserves. Update: Tina had tested Lyme positive but has already completed her antibiotic treatment. She is feeling great and ready to go home! We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Story

Maverick loves butt scratches and is walking well on leash. He isn’t super interested in playing with toys however he will play for a bit. His previous owner seemed to just let him out in the backyard and did not teach him commands or walk him much but our staff have been working with him and now Maverick knows how to sit and really enjoys taking walks in the woods. Maverick is anxious around other dogs so he would do best in a home as an only dog. He is sensitive about anything done around his neck but we have been working with him on this and able to put a collar/leash on. He will need an owner who is experienced with working breeds and will continue to work with him on this to get him comfortable with that and to give him the structure he needs. Maverick would love to have someone give him a chance to have a home of his own. Maverick is about 6 years old and 44 pounds. Please help Maverick find a loving family of his own. Opie was part of a litter found in the woods by a good Samaritan. Unfortunately their Mom was found deceased nearby. Opie had been adopted into a home with 5 children and then returned. The chaos and noise seemed to have made him anxious so now we are looking for a quieter home for him. He warms up more quickly to women initially but will get comfortable with men and will become very sweet and affectionate. Opie also likes to play with toys and getting treats. He can get spooked by sudden loud noises and will look to hide. We are working with him on some resource guarding with food as he does not like it when it is taken away from him. Opie likes other dogs - he will play with them and it has helped him come out of his shell. We do not know how what he thinks of cats. Opie is about 9 months old and 45 pounds. Rocky enjoys his chew toys and, like most puppies, may occasionally snag a sock or blanket—but he’s doing wonderfully learning what’s his and what’s not. He does great in his crate, is progressing nicely with house training, and is eager to please. He plays well with other dogs and has been around cats in his foster home—curious but respectful, never aggressive. Dodge is a toung, strikingly handsome Blue Heeler/Lab mix with a bright spirit to match his good looks. About one year old and weighing 43 pounds, this mostly black shiny boy has a beautiful gray-speckled chest that gives him a regal, eye-catching look. With longer legs and a slimmer build than a typical Heeler, he carries himself with confidence and athletic grace. Whatever breeds make up his DNA, one thing is certain — Dodge is sweet, playful, and incredibly smart. Dodge’s story began in the countryside, where he arrived at a rental home alongside a female Heeler mix and their six puppies. When the family couldn’t keep dogs, a cattle dog rescue stepped in to save the puppies, the mama was rehomed, and Dodge found his way to Critter Cavalry Rescue so he could be fully vetted and matched with the perfect home. Still very much a puppy at heart, Dodge brings goofy charm, happy energy, and a love of life wherever he goes. Buddy was rescued from Georgia after very sadly losing his human mom to cancer in 2024.
