Story
This precious girl came from one of the worst hoarding situations that we have ever dealt with. there were over 100 dogs on the property, none of them spayed or neutered. Finally, the authorities went in and they managed to get ALL of the dogs out of there. Filthy dirty situation, sick puppies, you name it. We choose to take Blossom home to our rescue because her eyes were begging us for love and attention. She was very pregnant and two weeks after arriving, she gave birth to 7 heathy puppies! Every single puppy was different, every singe puppy had a different daddy! We think that Blossom had never been paid any attention to because she was so shy. Once we weaned her babies we took her out of the nursery and into the house where she just blossomed! That's how she got her name! Her puppies have long since been adopted and now it's her turn. We actually did a DNA on her and it came back with 4 different breeds, which we kind of figured from the beginning. Australian Cattle Dog, Labrador Retriever, Pit Bull, Boxer. Yes, she is truly a "Mutt!. She is extremely smart and will do anything for a treat. I want her to have a nice fenced yard with lots of room to run. Cattle dogs are working dogs and they need lots of exercise! She is spayed, crate trained, fully vaccinated, microchipped and house broken, truly a gem! Ready for immediate transport. ADOPTION FEE $400 PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION!

Foxy is a spayed female Australian Cattle Dog mix born about January 2024. She and her sister were roaming around country roads until their foster home took them in to help them get ready for their forever homes. Foxy weighs about 32 pounds, and might fill out a bit more, but will easily fit into your lap for belly rubs, which she loves. She is learning to sit, stay, and come, and is working hard on her potty training. She should be all set when she goes to her new home. She sleeps in her crate at night with all of her toys, and bounces around with other dogs and cats at her foster home. While still a puppy and might jump until taught not to, she is kid friendly. Story
Hi, my name is Oreo! I am 11 lbs and about 2 and a half months old. My foster mom says I am an absolutely perfect girl. We think I might be a true super mutt mix with maybe heeler as my main breed. I should be a medium-sized dog and about 30-50 pounds when grown. I am very smart and would love to make you happy. I have your average puppy personality: silly, goofy, sweet, loving, and AWESOME. I love to chew bones and squeaky toys of all kinds! Interested in becoming a forever home for Oreo? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Oreo. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Oreo the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
We are looking to rehome our 5-year-old blue heeler mix from NYC to someone on a farm or large property where she can run and play for hours. She has been an inside dog for the past 4 years, so she will need a home where she sleeps inside and is able to inside and outside throughout the day. Alaska is a very sweet dog and understands several commands. She is very smart and eager to please! We need to rehome her because we moved to a new home where there is no place for her to run, so she is getting depressed and showing signs of aggression. We love her very much and want to do what is best for her, but it is a very difficult and sad situation for us to give her up. She would need to be the only pet, and she is not able to ride in vehicles because she gets sick. We think this is due to her traumatic experience of being transported from Arkansas to New York with a large group of other dogs. Please reach out if you or someone you know may be a good fit.
