Story
Mackensie is a sweet, spunky girl who loves everyone she meets! Mackensie is also positive for a heartworm infection. She is currently being treated, but the treatment takes time. She is available for adoption, but the adopter must agree to foster her and return her for the rest of her treatment. We expect her to fully recover and will be an even happier, healthier version of the dog she is today. (For information about heartworms and treatment visit: https://www.heartwormsociety.org/pet-owner-resources) Mackensie needs some training as she tends to be excitable, mouthy so she'd do best in a home with older children. She seems to be okay with other dogs, but we would always recommend a meet and greet with any potential doggie-housemates. If you are interested in meeting Mackensie, visit or call the shelter - or complete an online adoption questionnaire and a shelter team member will reach out to schedule and introduction! www.HamiltonNJ.com/AnimalShelterHamilton Township Animal Shelter cannot offer any guarantees on the age, health, temperament, personality or mental disposition of any pet. Story
Meet Pam, Sam, and Cam, our 4-month-old  Blue Heeler mixes. They weigh between 14 and 18 pounds, but we expect them to mature to around 45 pounds. They love to play with other dogs and we predict that they will even do well with cats because of their friendliness. All littermates have short coats with Pam's being black and white ticked, Sam's being brindle with white and black ticked paws and snout, and Cam's coat being white with black dots. Each pup enjoys playing with plush or rope toys and enjoys running in the grass. These three pups are full of potential, and they're ready to share their love and happiness with a forever family. Adopt Pam, Sam, or Cam and let their playful curiosity bring a new spark to your life! (ME, 2/17/2024)      **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.  April 26, 2024, 11:32 am

Story
Please contact Vickie ( yardleydogs2@aol.com) for more information about this pet.  This handsome Australian Shepherd mix goes by the name of Ace.  Weighing about 50 pounds, he sports a long coat of chocolate and cream, a coat that needs to be brushed regularly so he can continue to keep his best.  Ace is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained.  He’s currently living with another dog, and they get along well, but we aren’t sure about cats or kids.  Ace can be a bit anxious at times and it’s then that you might find him in his safe place, his crate.  He would probably prefer a quiet home that isn’t too noisy.  Ace is a loving boy, one who would definitely make your life terrific!  (R, 2/27/24)    **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our wonderful dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our many years in rescue.** Adoption and transport:  250  April 26, 2024, 11:32 am

Story
Hey Gang! It's me Bandit. I have stopped playing just long enough to chat with you, but I can't stay long, 'cause I have to get back to the action with my friends. I am after all, a 'game on' kind of guy. I am loving the Spring - I am spending it out running around with my foster brothers and sisters. My fun personality has made me a real hit in my foster home. Let's see....my hobbies include playing, running, jumping [I keep getting told no on that one] and giving out love and kisses. I am looking for a home to call my forever. Are you out there? Well if I sound like the kind of guy that would complete your life, get that application in! I hope to meet you real soon so we can start our own forever adventures together! Bandit is an 4 year old neutered black and tan Aussie-Doxie Mix male who is current on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative and has been placed on the DRBC long life diet. If you are seriously interested in participating in DRBC's Adoption Program, visit our webpage: www.doxierescue.com to learn more. The DRBC Website will help you can learn more about our adoption process and complete the application. NOTE: DRBC only adopts to the NJ, NY, DE, MD and Eastern PA areas to adults aged 21 yrs and older. This 'think global, act local' approach helps us provide the best in supportive medical care and behavioral guidance across the life of our placements.
