Story
COURTESY POST:  Maggie is a sweet dog who loves spending her days lounging around or going for short walks. She is a laid back girl who is happy to lay out back or post up on a couch in the sunlight all day long. Maggie is quite the hunter and mouser so if you have a mouse issue and are not interested in owning a cat Maggie, will handle the mice for you.   She walks perfectly on a leash and says hi well to other dogs. She is however dog selective within her own house and would do best with a confident dog or another dog who is also laid back.   Maggie is a people dog. She loves every person she meets and knows no strangers. She is fully house broken and has no interest in chewing anything up.   She is 8 and she is truly a mixed breed. We have no idea mix of what, but we have been told by the vet and trainer she is likely a cattle dog mixed with a hound.   If you are interested in Maggie please contact Haley at 6103315394 (tel:6103315394) .March 9, 2026, 7:19 pm

Story
Meet Cleo!  Currently 14.5 weeks old Cleo and his littermates arrived from Tennessee. He has adjusted well to his home with two other dogs.  Sleeping in crate at night and seems to be potty trained already.   Very affectionate and looks to someone to snuggle with.  Getting used to the cats.  Loves toys!!!  This type of breed needs exercise and will not do well in home where they are not mentally stimulated. Because of the heeler nature, small children in the home are not recommended.  All puppies must be spayed or neutered by 6 mos of age.  The adoption fee is $350 plus $150 spay/neuter deposit.  Deposit is returned after proof of surgery.  PO Box 44 Parker Ford, PA 19475 PA Kennel lis # 8665 Click this link to apply: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FHPA/Dog  April 15, 2026, 10:26 pm

Story
We are heartbroken to be writing this, but we are looking for a loving new home for our almost 4-year-old girl. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves to cuddle. She thrives on human attention and is wonderful with children — she happily plays and wrestles gently with our 4, 6, and 11-year-old kids and has never shown aggression toward people. Over the past 6 months, she has developed aggression toward other animals in our home. We have worked hard to manage and correct this, but despite our efforts, she no longer gets along with our older dog or our cat. Keeping the dogs separated full-time is becoming stressful for everyone, including her. She would do best as: The only pet in the home With a family who can give her lots of love and attention Possibly with older children or dog-savvy kids (she does great with ours). She deserves a home where she can relax and not feel triggered by other animals. This decision is not made lightly.

Story
Meet Scout: Australian Cattle Dog Mix | High Energy | People Lover Scout is an amazing dog who deserves an active home where he can thrive. He's smart, affectionate, and has never shown aggression toward people; just the opposite. He loves to snuggle, play fetch, chase frisbees, and would be perfect for hiking and outdoor adventures. Why we're rehoming: Scout has resource-guarded food around our other dog a few times (never breaking skin, but concerning with young kids around). His constant high energy has also impacted our older dog's quality of life. Scout adores his brother, but Copper just wants peace. What Scout needs: An active owner who can provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He'd do best as an only dog or with a high-energy playmate. He's the type of dog you can take everywhere! 15-20 years ago, he would've been my dream dog. Scout is loyal, loving, and ready to be someone's perfect adventure partner. With the right home, he'll be absolutely incredible!
