Story
I’m Xadie, a stunning cattle dog mix who would love a forever home with some room to run.I came to the Humane Society of York County when my owner was no longer able to care for me. I’m a medium-size girl, about 55 pounds, and my estimated birth date is November 2022.I’m a survivor! I defeated heartworms after completing my treatment at HSYC and I’m ready to find my forever home.I’m a pretty high-energy girl. I love my daily walks and my play time to run free in the yards at the rescue. I’m a sweet, affectionate pup, with a playful, funny personality. I get along with other dogs, and would do best with a doggy companion who matches my energy level.I would do best in an active home, and a fenced yard would be a big plus also!If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.

Story
This 2 ½-year-old Australian Cattle Dog is a loyal, adventure-loving companion ready to explore the great outdoors with her perfect person. Weighing about 25 lbs, she’s up to date on shots, spayed, and microchipped. Pepper is crate-trained, house-trained, and loves meeting new people, though she can be a little shy at first. She thrives in a calm, structured home without small children or other dogs unless closely monitored. With patience and love, Pepper will continue building confidence and become the best trail buddy you could ask for.

Story
Contact my foster parent at: jillstassel@gmail.comMy name is Toby!A few things about me:-I love dogs! I enjoy playing and getting rowdy with a friend. -I am a big fan of all toys. Squeaky toys are great for fetch (although I do enjoy a good game of ‘no take, only throw’). Tug of war is also a favorite. -I am crate trained! I sleep quietly in my crate all night -I am potty trained! -I am a medium energy young dog who loves to play, take a walk, and chew a bone but will happily snooze on the floor after some fun. -I love to climb into your lap and sit on you (I like to think I’m a little dog). I am a big snuggle bug. -Butt scratches and nose scratches are my fav -I’m still learning how to walk on a leash without pulling but am making stellar progress!-I know sit, down, & shake!-I can be a little rowdy when I play, so I’d do best in a home with older kids -I would not do well in a home with cats -I would make a great family dog! I am a lot of fun.

Woof! Julia here, the quirky and lovable adventure enthusiast in search of my perfect pack! I'm not one to sit around; walks, hikes, and camping are my jam! But here's the catch – I'm not a fan of being left alone. I crave a family that's home more often, 'cause snuggles are my superpower. Oh, and did I mention my foster brother? Backyard romps are a blast with him! I may be active, but I'm all about gentle cuddles too. If you're up for a playful yet affectionate companion, let's embark on a journey of laughter and love together! 🐾❤️Submit your application today at www.southcharlottedogrescue.com!
