Story
I’m Splat, a bubbly cattle dog/heeler mix – a petite girl with a great big personality!I was found running along the interstate highway and a kind person stopped and took me to safety. I’m at the Humane Society of York County now and looking for my forever home. I’m a smaller gal, about 20-25 pounds, and my estimated birth date is Feb. 2022.I’m an energetic girl, typical of a cattle dog, and I love to run and play. I’m affectionate and like to have my share of attention! Well, actually all of the attention – I would probably do best in a home as the only pet. I would be a perfect companion for someone who loves to be on the go. If you’re a person who loves adventures and is in need of an adorable companion to join you, call to meet me!If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.

Story
Meet Your Mighty Little Man! I may be small, but I’ve got a big personality to match—and I’m all boy! I’m brave, curious, and always ready to explore new places or meet new people. I love a good play session and enjoy wrestling with my sister. I even try to keep up with the big dogs… my foster mom says I need to grow a bit more first, but I think I’m already pretty tough! Because of my short legs, I sometimes need a little help getting onto furniture or climbing stairs—but that doesn’t stop me from trying. I’ve got determination for days! At night, I sleep in my crate like a champ. Since I’m still a baby, I do need a few potty breaks overnight, but I’ll let you know when it’s time—and then I settle right back to sleep. My favorite toys are chew bones and squeaky toys (bonus: they double as the perfect pillow for my naps). I love to play and explore, but I’m also an excellent napper—I can even snooze through the vacuum! If you’re looking for a fun, fearless little companion with a big heart and an even bigger personality, I might just be your perfect match. --- To apply to adopt, please follow the steps for adoption on HalfwayThereRescue.com/Adoption-Process and apply directly here: https://fs26.formsite.com/htrnp/a2k3lsooud/index.html

Meet Camellia — a stunning 9-month-old Cattle Dog mix with a fun-loving personality and a heart full of devotion. At 40 pounds, she’s the perfect size for adventures, playtime, and curling up nearby after a busy day. Camellia is both crate trained and house trained, and she has quickly proven herself to be a wonderful companion. She absolutely loves people and lights up whenever she gets attention from her humans. She’s also a social girl who enjoys playing with other dogs and would love a canine buddy to romp around with. One of Camellia’s favorite things in the world is playing fetch. She loves to retrieve balls, proudly bringing them right back and dropping them at your feet, ready for the next throw. Her enthusiasm and eagerness to engage make her such a fun dog to spend time with. Smart, affectionate, and full of happy energy, Camellia is ready to find a forever family that will enjoy her playful spirit and loving nature. She’s the kind of dog that will happily join you for adventures and then be your loyal shadow at home.    If you are interested in adopting Camellia, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **May 19, 2026, 9:32 pm
