Story
Sequoia is stunningly beautiful. There is no way around the fact that heads will turn and jaws will drop when they see this girl walking down the street. What's even better is her brains and heart are just as beautiful. She is highly intelligent, always seeking to find what you want from her and how to do the right thing. She is affectionate and checks in with her people often. During playgroup she has been a helper dog who adjusts to all different playstyles. I genuinely cannot say enough about what a special dog that you will be getting with Sequoia.

Story
Bailey is a nearly 2 year old Australian Cattle Dog (heeler) mix. She is leash trained (without pulling, usually), crate trained, knows basic commands and loves her people (kids included). She is smart, happy and loves to play. The problem is, her owner has gotten very sick and can no longer keep up with her. She is a high energy dog and would do well with a busy family, anyone who likes to run or hike, or as a farm dog. She would not do well to be alone all day or sitting on a couch all the time. This dog needs a job! Because of her situation at her previous home, she is currently with me and my family (I also have her mom, her dad and her sister - they're our 4H dogs). Unfortunately, my house is too small for another dog her size and she really deserves a family of her own. She loves to cuddle and loves to chase balls my kids throw for her. If you are interested in having her as your new four-legged family member, please reach out!

Story
Whisper is just the sweetest spotted lady around. She is great with other dogs, both large and small, a mature lady of 40 lbs, 6-8 years old, still full of energy, but past all the puppy behavior. No household accidents, chewing, or whining. She is content to spend the afternoon playing in the yard, chilling in her crate (door open or closed), or snuggling up to you on the couch. She is good with either a dog door or with asking to be let out. She loves to play with other dogs, not so much with toys. She loves treats and loves to eat but is not food aggressive. She’s learning to leave her foster sister’s dish alone. On a leash, she is learning not to pull. Due to her history, she does get nervous around roads, but she loves to ride in the car!  Give Whisper a little attention, and she’s wiggling all over the place. She does not jump up and does not get on the furniture. She has been trained to sit, but it’s so hard to sit when someone is loving on you! In person she looks like an Aussie, the vet put blue heeler and we’ve had apps and friends say setter mix. So who really knows?? And who cares; she’s a good girl either way! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   December 4, 2023, 11:04 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Flea. I am a cattle mix with a serious love of all the food (esp hotdogs). I used to rock out with the younger crowd but as I have aged I prefer a more mature crowd and I can do without cats. Please, don’t let my older age fool you though, I still love walks, but I can also chill. Wanna just jam some Red Hot Chili Peppers? I am your dude. Looking for a 4-legged friend to take a road trip with? I do great in both the car and my crate. Apply today! Adoption fee is $200. He is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. Flea is part of our Senior Soulmates Program. If he is adopted by a senior citizen a generous donor will sponsor his adoption fee and he will come with six months of heartworm prevention.
