Seven is 4.5 years young. Purchased at six weeks from a breeder as our daughter thought he would be a terrific service/therapy dog to help her manage her anxieties. He was trained, but our daughter was unable to maintain the consistency in terms of command/routine that service dogs require. As the dog grew to full size (60 lbs) she found it difficult to walk with the dog and infant then toddler. She, her child and her partner live in a 1BR apartment with no yard; walks are essential. My wife and I have been sitting with the dog for two months. We've found the dog to be very trainable, gets along well with other dogs (we have a 7 year old Golden Doodle of our own) and is incredibly loving. We simply don't have the space in our lives for two dogs so we are looking to rehome Seven at this point. The only "issue" is that Seven was struck by a car 2 years ago and while his leg was surgically repaired, the right hind leg can not bare full weight. Only noticeable after a long hard play!

My name is Aster! It's pretty obvious what I am.... I am a Blue Heeler AKA an Australian Cattle Dog! Of course we have no idea if I am a purebred heeler but I look pretty close. I am about 12 to 18 months old. I am 38 lbs but a bit overweight which is coming off quickly! I should be closer to 33ish. Speaking of activity, like a classic heeler, I sure do love it. I walk through life happy and excited for just about anything. I love adventures, water, car rides, hikes and playing with my dog friends. That being said, I can also hang out, chill and enjoy relaxing moments with my humans. I love my foster dog roommates. They are also female heelers. They are slightly smaller and older than me so I think at certain times my nose boops get on their nerves but I think it's funny! I could totally live with another dog that wants to play with me and is a bit sturdy as I like to zoom around! I walk well on leash, I am housebroken and crate-trained. I am also pretty quiet! We think dog savvy kids 10+ would be appropriate for me. I do have some herding tendencies (of course!). Cats - no data on those! My name is Pepper! I am a super cute 4.5 month old, 31 lb heeler mix. I am spunky, fun, smart and ready to land my own home. I have 4 other siblings. We all run around, romp and play the day away. I socialize with other dogs too - of all ages and sizes. Everyone is my friend right now. I have been around young children and they are acceptable of course. I can be a little jumpy with them so sturdy kids are probably best. My size? I am the biggest of the crew! I could get to 50 to 55 lbs... it's hard to say for sure. My personality is confident - I am the leader of my pack. I have a fun-loving and curious spirit and I like to keep everything under control. I am a good sharer of things - food, toys and attention even though I can be a little bossy. I am crate trained but will need some reminders on my housebreaking and ready to learn the house rules when I get there! I could totally live with another dog that will show me the ropes of growing up and spend some time playing with me. We are unsure about cats! JULIUS s a darling Heeler mix, 15 weeks, 25 lbs. WHAT a handsome with a half butterfly on his forehead! JULIUS is a very loving piup. He is one of 5 pups born to Momma Risa. Rescued in West TN by a visiting relative from Colorado. That does not happen very often. She and her Family picked them up and went over and beyond to help them. VAL-ANN, KIMMIE, TAN-TAM, GAGE are also available for adoption. Momma Risa will be ready to leave soon. She is a great mom. Working on trainings....more will be needed.
