Tillie is such a sweet 8 year old Australian Shepherd mix who was adopted 7 years ago from LRH but her family is moving and cannot take her with them. It's heartbreaking for this sweet girl but we are committed to finding her a wonderful family who will love her forever. She's currently living in Hicksville, Long Island. Tillie has a lovely temperament and is very affectionate and loves to be with her peeps. She's also very smart and knows lots of commands as you can see in her videos. She doesn't live with another dog now but enjoys playing with them. She absolutely loves to play and relax in her backyard. She's a homebody who doesn't need lots of excitement and will be a great buddy going for walks in the neighborhood or watching TV. Tillie also does fine with kitties so she'll be a great family member to everyone in the house! We are looking for a loving family for Tillie because she is a great dog and deserves to be loved unconditionally. She's healthy, up to date on all her vaccinations, house-trained and so ready to give her all your love. Teddy is a 10 month old Australian Shepherd mix who is looking for his forever home. Originally from Alabama, Teddy was adopted by a family in New Jersey, but due to circumstances beyond their control, they were unable to keep him. He's now safe with us and ready for his next chapter. At about 40 pounds, Teddy is a handsome boy with a gorgeous brindle and white coat. He's sweet, happy, and loves being around people. As an added bonus, Teddy is being fostered by one of our favorite dog trainers, so he will be fully trained and ready to succeed in his new home. Teddy would love an active family that can give him plenty of exercise, attention, and love. If you're looking for a young, affectionate companion to share life's adventures, Teddy may be the perfect match for you! ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Meet Coco, a sweet 6 yr 60 lb purebred Aussie boy from Queens NY 11365. He is microchipped and up to date on vaccines and he is intact. Coco is my friendly office buddy who loves people and visitors and most folks who meet him smile right away. He is good with most dogs and good with kids, no cat experience. Crate trained and past the wild puppy stage, he loves walks and just hanging close to his person. He is a true velcro Aussie who is happiest when someone is home a lot, still learning to feel more confident alone, so work from home or lots of check ins is best. He has had minor seizures 3 to 4 times a year, specialist says no meds needed now, records available. I am rehoming due to divorce and moving to a co-op with a 40 lb limit. I can keep him 3 to 5 weeks and help with NY transport. After my move I cannot take him back so I am hoping for a kind experienced home with a rescue safety net if ever needed.
