Story
🤍 Meet Beau 🤍 5-year-old male Australian Shepherd mix 52 lbs | Fully vetted & neutered Beau’s story almost ended far too soon — he was saved just 2 hours before euthanasia. Now he’s ready for the second chance he so deeply deserves. 🐾 ✨ Why Beau is such a special boy: • Non-reactive & non-destructive • Potty trained • Responds well to redirection • Great recall • Very in tune with his person • Easygoing and cooperative — jumps right into the car and the bathtub • Food motivated (awesome for training!) • Great in the car • Knows sit, lay down, and leave it • Pretty chill in the house — enjoys toy playtime, then happily relaxes by his people with his head in your lap ⚠️ Things to know: • Not good with cats • Needs food separated from other pets due to some resource guarding. Good with other dogs aside from this! Beau would thrive in a home that appreciates a loyal, intuitive companion. He’s truly an easy dog to love and is so ready to be someone’s best friend. 💙

Story
Hi, my name is Prancer.  I was not left behind by Santa Claus.   I got my name from the way I run.  I don’t really run, I prance around.  It just makes you smile to watch me.  I am a wonderful little guy who loves life.  I am always happy.  My foster mom says I am happy no matter what and sometimes oblivious because of my happiness.  There is a doggie door to her deck.  My favorite game is to run around the den, through the kitchen, out the doggie door, and around the yard.  Then back in.  Each time I check to make sure my foster mom is still there.  Sometimes I am actually able to persuade a couple of my foster brothers to join me.  We have a blast.  I am not sure my foster mom has the same amount of fun.  But....we keep it up until it is time to take a nap. I have fit in great here and get along well with the other doggies, even the grouchy old men!  Again, I am oblivious to their opinion of me.  I am housebroken and crate-trained.  I know to go to my crate when treats are given out.  I also eat my breakfast and dinner in my crate.   I was originally living with a senior lady.  Unfortunately, we were not a good match.  As soon as Critter Cavalry learned of my dilemma, I was placed in a more suitable home.  I am happy to hang out here until I find my forever home.   I would love a home with an active family that will take me places with them.  I am learning to walk on a leash so I can go walking and maybe even hiking with you.  If you are into agility, I am your man.  As you have already read, I am actively practicing my skills.  I would also be a great companion for a family with older children.  As an Australian Shepherd mix, I am an active boy who needs a job.  A fenced-in yard is also a must for me.   Prancer is neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped. To apply or learn more, email Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com. (He is in Tennessee and can be transported north after adoption. Approved application and fee required.)      January 13, 2026, 6:14 pm

Story
Stella is a friendly and intelligent dog with plenty of energy. We want her to be happy and have a space where she can run around and play with other dogs. Previously, Stella lived in the mountains of Colorado, where she enjoyed a large fenced yard and had lots of friends to play with. Now, she is living in a townhouse without a yard, which has been challenging for her. As a very active young lady, she is currently feeling unhappy. Stella is a mix of Australian Cattle Dog, Husky, German Shepherd, and Golden Retriever, and she is expected to weigh around 30 pounds. She is a loving and eager-to-learn dog who picks up new skills quickly. Stella would be an amazing agility dog, as this would engage both her mind and her need for physical activity. If agility training isn't your interest, she would also thrive in an active lifestyle with an avid walker, hiker, or runner.  Stella is a very quick learner and was immediately fully potty trained.     To ensure the best for Stella, her new owners should have a yard or live on a farm, and it would be great if they have another dog and children.  Stella has plenty of energy to add playing at home to her list of activities.    Stella has been spayed and is current on all her shots until May 2026.  To be considered for her forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Stella is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)  July 30, 2025, 9:47 pm
