Story
Meet Chick from the "Baby" litter!
She was rescued with her mom, Mère, and 4 siblings (Bunny, Kit, Cub, and Fry) from South Texas. She is approximately 3 months old and weighs 16 lbs.
Chick has a ZEST for life and is ready to make every day more fun! This playful girl is smart, curious, and always up for whatever adventure comes next. She’s already learning her basic commands and is showing us that she has the brains to match her adorable face.
Got a dog big enough to be her bodyguard? Chick's in!
Got a dog small enough to be her sidekick? Chick's in!
Want a hiking buddy, a sports partner, or a four-legged teammate? Chick says, "LET'S GO!"
She’s an independent little explorer with natural leadership skills, but don't let that fool you—after all that adventuring, Chick is more than happy to snuggle up with her favorite humans.
She has been introduced to nail trims, brushing, a rotary trimmer, vacuuming, and a blender. She does great with the resident dogs, and learns from their wise teachings. She would love a doggie sibling, but we believe she will do great as an only dog as well. Chick has been on many outings to places like At Home and dog-friendly restaurants!
Her potty training is going very well! Lately, she is sleeping through the night with no accidents, and knows to go potty on the grass. She can even use a doggie door!
She is sleeping soundly in her crate at night as well!
Chick is toy and food motivated, so she is quick to acquire new skills. She has already learned "sit" and "down", and is confidently luring over all kinds of surfaces and obstacles. She is showing great focus during training sessions, so she will thrive in a family who plans to continue her training to keep her brain engaged. She will likely be a great athlete- maybe she’ll be a running partner or disc dog!
If your life could use a little more Chick, a lot more laughter, and a whole lot of puppy kisses, this girl is ready to meet you!
