Meet Skye – Your Smart, Sweet, Adventure Buddy Say hello to Skye, a 2½-year-old mini Australian Shepherd/Beagle mix at only 20lbs, who’s as clever as she is loving! This beautiful girl is quick to learn—she figured out the doggie door at her foster home in just 20 minutes! Skye is both house and crate trained. Now that she’s settling into a more relaxed home life, she’s learning how wonderful it feels to nap out in the open, surrounded by comfort and love. She’s sweet, smart, and great with other dogs. Skye would thrive with a family who wants to include her in their everyday adventures—riding along to soccer practice, joining weekend outings, and being part of the fun. Even better if someone in the family enjoys running—Skye would love to be your jogging partner! If you’re looking for a loyal, active companion who’s ready to be a true member of the family, Skye is eager to meet you and share all the love she has to give. ##2566332##

Our listed dogs ARE READY IMMEDIATELY; we only meet with families WHO ARE READY TO ADOPT! IF YOU APPLY and if WE APPROVE YOU it means we are assuming when you meet any of our dogs and fall in love you're ready to ADOPT AND HIM OR HER HOME   The Durant Aussie Paussie 0226 This adorable litter was originally of 10 healthy, happy Mini Aussie-Border Collie pups that were divided between three rescues; we are thrilled that DASH was contacted to bring some of them in! The babies have been cared for by a wonderful DASH foster who is a vet tech in Durant, Oklahoma, and they are available for adoption AS OF TODAY, Feb 4. They will be able to be picked up Friday, February 13 and/or Saturday, February 14th; they’ll be eight weeks and three days old at that time and will have had TWO rounds of boosters, Bordetella dewormer & flea:tick prevention: everything that is appropriate for their age. The videos and photos are adorable — we’ve gotten to follow their progress. They are tiny! They are definitely mini puppies! All three are HEALTHY, ACTIVE, PLAYFUL, CUDDLY AND BOTH DOG AND CAT FRIENDLY since they are little babies The homes we are looking for will have at least one adult who works from home or is not gone from home more than two hours a day for the next several months. Homes with children 10 and older on a case by case basis will be considered. We definitely want houses with yards that have secure privacy, fences or safety fences, (though Rescued Mini Aussies are never to be left out unsupervised) We do love homes that have another dog that’s an age/energy level that Puppy can play with because, as I always say, no matter how fun humans try to be we’re not as fun for a puppy as another dog is! These are babies who will learn a lot of socialization from being with canine-companions. We will consider One-Dog homes, but we will talk to applicants on a case by case basis; we are looking for for people that have appropriate playmates and plans of friends and family that have dogs for socialization. One of the females has been adopted already, but I am posting Dingo & Wombat, the boys, and their sister Little Roo! If you’re interested in one of the pups from the Aussie Paussie please complete the application on the website below THEN TEXT SARA: 214-549-9905 So I can check your application! Thank you! We have other older puppies, six months nine months a year that will also be listed and often. Those are the best choices for some families so please keep them in mind! www.dashdog.org   www.dashdog.org General Info - PLEASE READ! *Our $450 adoption fee is based on the cost of rescuing, transporting and vetting each dog; we do not try to compete on prices with municipal shelters whose funds are paid by the city. Beautiful Bella Bear BELLA BEAR is the sweetest girl! She's extremely smart and she knows how to pick up on cues easily. She it’s so cute and cuddly sometimes she looks like a little bear cub, a perfect snuggle sister for humans or for a male companion dog.     Bella knows several commands, including :  sit, stay, wait, leave it, drop it, go potty, and come here (sometimes, she may give you a paw if you hold your hand out) but she can still be trained because she loves treats!    Bella loves toys that she can destroy, a chew toy from time to time but what she enjoys most of all is a game of fetch! She will not play outside by herself in a backyard -- you MUST come play with her. She does know the difference between her own toys that she can play with and your belongings.   Bella loves walking/jogging on leash alongside her people; she loves being outside for any reason! She loves belly rubs, and in return, loves to give kisses of affection. She loves barking when people walk by the home or the fence - she will always let you know someone is nearby.    Bella isn't territorial for her own space but she will make any place in the house (especially the living room or your bed) her comfort spot unless you train her not to .   Bella enjoys being around dogs that want to play.  She would be really happy to have a companion dog, a large male who’s yelling and fun like her to play with.   Bella is housetrained and she will bark in the middle of the night if she needs to be let outside.   Bella is a great little dog. She’s the perfect size and the perfect energy level to be a companion to people or a family or to a male dog companion.   To apply to adopt sweet BELLA BEAR, please complete the application on our website below then text:   Sara: 214-549-9905 & Kevin: 469-623-3999   So one of us can check your application!   Thank you!   www.dashdog.org General Info - PLEASE READ! *Our $450 adoption fee is based on the cost of rescuing, transporting and vetting each dog; we do not try to compete on prices with municipal shelters whose funds are paid by the city. Story
Bossy is a fun, energetic young pup who is very much still in her puppy phase but she is SO intelligent. She’s playful, active, and full of curiosity, always ready to explore the world around her. Bossy is very intelligent and already knows the command “go to home,” heading right to her crate when asked a great start for continued training. She has lived with both kids and adults and is comfortable being crated. Bossy would benefit from continued potty training and basic puppy manners, but she’s eager to learn and would do well with someone ready to guide a smart, active pup. If you’re looking for a bright, energetic puppy to grow with, Bossy might be the perfect match! We got him a shelter in Collin county. Buddy is a sweet dog but our older dog that we already have has a hard time getting along with Buddy. Buddy is an only child kind of dog and I think it’s best He goes to a home that has no other pets. Buddy is potty trained and loves people. Buddy gets attached very quickly and loves to go on walks and running around in a backyard. Buddy loves to cuddle and loves to play with his dog toys. Buddy is just a great dog to have around that just wants to be loved by his people.
