Meet Cody One year old. Twenty five pounds. One resilient little heart wrapped in a fluffy Mini Australian Shepherd mix body. Cody’s story did not start the way it should have. After being adopted for free from Dallas Animal Services, he was quickly forgotten instead of cherished. He was later found severely underweight and covered in fleas, clearly neglected and left to fend for himself. And yet… somehow… this sweet boy still loves with his whole heart. That tells you everything you need to know about him. Today, Cody is thriving. He is crate trained, great on a leash, and promptly handles his business when taken outside like the polite gentleman he is. He’s doing wonderfully with potty training and truly wants to please. He would do just fine in an apartment as long as he gets plenty of walks and some fun dog park playtime. He loves other dogs, enjoys children, and fits beautifully into an active, loving home. At just 25 pounds, he’s the perfect “take me everywhere” size. He’s affectionate without being overwhelming, playful without being chaotic, and loyal in that quiet, steady way that makes you feel chosen. Cody has already experienced the worst of what humans can offer. Now he deserves the very best. A family who feeds him well, keeps him healthy, takes him on adventures, and never makes him question whether he belongs. Meet Sundae &#194&#150 a 2 year old female Aussie/Catahoula mix that weighs approx. 56Lbs. Sundae is a sweet, sensitive girl who is ready for a fresh start. She can be shy at first and may startle easily in new environments, but with a little patience she quickly builds trust and becomes an affectionate love bug. Once she feels safe, Sundae absolutely adores belly rubs and will happily soak up all the pets and attention you can give. She walks nicely on a leash and has good leash manners, making her a wonderful companion for calm neighborhood strolls. Sundae would do best in a home with children 13 years and older or in an adult-only household where she can feel secure. She is not currently comfortable around other dogs, though the shelter environment may be contributing to that stress, so a meet and greet is required if another dog is in the home prior to adopting her. Her adoption fee is $125. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her rabies vaccine, basic boosters, and heartworm negative.
