I’m a darling puppy who somehow found myself at animal control, and I’m so grateful Mostly Mutts came to my rescue. I’m loving my time with the wonderful volunteers and can’t wait to meet the family who will call me their own! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a dog at home already that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me or that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a happy, playful pup who loves to have fun and enjoy life! I’m friendly, active, and always ready for an adventure or a good play session. The volunteers say I’m super sweet and smart, and I’m known for my cheerful, happy personality. Despite my playful side, I also have a nice calm demeanor when needed - I stood very still throughout my bath and ear cleaning and handled the whole experience like a champ. All our dogs are spayed/neutered and fully vetted. Senior dogs receive extra bloodwork and we try to do dental cleanings on any dogs that need them. Most of the dogs in our care are crate-trained and cat tested. We test with kids when we can. Our process can seem involved and long - we appreciate your patience. Adopting a dog is not like buying a candy bar in the checkout lane; it should never be a last-minute decision or one that is not fully thought out. ADOPT MEJuniper is a lovable 2 year old beagle-dachshund mix with a sweet disposition and lots of brown and black freckles all over. Though shy when she initially meets someone new, she quickly warms up and is eager to roll over for belly rubs every chance she gets. On walks, she will keep close to you and follow your lead. At home, she’s happy to curl up in her bed or keep you company. She doesn’t beg, takes treats gently, and enjoys following the lead of her older foster sister. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect pup.” Juniper needs to be in a quieter home, without young children. She does have a bit of separation anxiety and does not care to be restricted access.
