Meet Nelly ! Nelly is a 20 lb, 4-month-old Beagle/Dachshund mix with a heart of gold and a playful spirit. She’s still working on her potty training, but with a little more time, treats, and patience, she’ll have it mastered in no time. This curious girl loves to watch bugs, birds, and squirrels—she’s more intrigued than chase-happy, which just adds to her charm. When she’s not on “nature watch,” Nelly is busy emptying the toy bin and having the best time entertaining herself. At home, she’s been great with cats, other dogs, and kids. She’s naturally on the submissive side, making her easy to get along with. At night, Nelly sleeps soundly in her crate, and with a frozen peanut butter treat, she’s happy to hang out in her pen when left alone. We expect Nelly to stay on the smaller side (maybe 30–40 lbs full grown)—she’s got those dainty little paws to prove it. Most of all, she has a sweet, cuddly personality and can’t wait to be someone’s best friend. If you’re looking for a playful, loving pup who’s equal parts silly and snuggly, Nelly is your girl!
