🐾 Meet Lady! A Little Beagle with a BIG Personality! 💕
Looking for a sweet, playful little companion who will fill your days with laughter, puppy kisses, and plenty of adventures? Meet Lady, an adorable 2½-month-old Beagle mix with a curious nose, a playful spirit, and a whole lot of love to give!
Lady is everything you'd expect from a Beagle puppy—outgoing, adventurous, curious, and full of personality! If there's one thing Lady absolutely LOVES, it's being outside! She enjoys exploring the yard, investigating all the interesting smells, and running around with her toys. On these beautiful fall afternoons, you'll often find her stretched out in the grass, enjoying the fresh air, or playing with the biggest ball she can find. She even loves looking out the patio door and will sometimes paw at it as if to say, "Hey, can we go outside now?"
And let's talk about toys! Lady LOVES them all! Soft toys, chew toys, balls—you name it! One of her favorite things to do is dig through the toy bin, pick out her favorites, and spread them around so she can entertain herself. She's a silly little girl who knows how to make her own fun!
Lady is also discovering just how wonderful snuggling can be! When she first arrived in foster care, she was content to sit back and watch her people or curl up on a dog bed. While she still enjoys her cozy bed, she's now figured out that the couch next to her favorite person is a pretty great place to nap, too! She's a playful, energetic puppy, but once she's had her fun, she settles down nicely for some well-deserved rest.
Lady is AMAZING with other dogs! She loves their company and is always ready to make a new canine friend. She would be a wonderful addition to a family with another playful dog, but she could also be perfectly happy as an only dog with people who give her plenty of attention, playtime, and love.
She's also done well with children. Like any puppy her age, Lady is teething and occasionally likes to test the waters with those little puppy teeth. Thankfully, she responds well to being redirected to appropriate toys. She'll need continued guidance and supervision around younger children as she learns her puppy manners.
For such a young girl, Lady is already developing some wonderful habits! She sleeps through the night, does well in her crate, and settles down quickly. She's still working on potty training and learning all the things a growing puppy needs to know, but she's off to a great start!
🏡 Lady's Dream Home
Lady would love a family who enjoys spending time outdoors as much as she does! A fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus, but it's not a requirement. What matters most is finding a family committed to giving her plenty of opportunities for safe outdoor play, exploring, walks when she's ready, and fun adventures together.
She'd be happy in a home with another friendly dog or as the center of attention in a one-dog household. She'll thrive with people who understand that puppies need patience, consistency, training, and plenty of love.
Lady really is an all-around wonderful puppy! She's playful without being nonstop, curious about the world, great with other dogs, and becoming more affectionate every day. She has that classic Beagle charm that makes even the simplest moments entertaining.

This dog is currently located in Chicago's southwest suburbs and can be seen by appointment once an adoption application is completed and approved by the rescue. Please note that we cannot hold dogs for any reason.

DHPP Vaccine series
Bordetella Vaccine
Leptospirosis Vaccine series
Rabies vaccine
4DX Heartworm test (7 months of age or older)
Spay/Neuter (performed at one of our partner veterinarians as scheduled by the rescue)
General wellness care (includes deworming, heartworm prevention, and flea/tick prevention)
