Story
Meet Popper! Popper is a 8-month-old black-and-white Beagle mix with a fun-loving personality, a serious case of the zoomies, and a heart that loves to cuddle! Popper is the perfect combination of playful puppy and affectionate snuggle buddy. He loves being outside, running around, playing with his dog friends, and then coming inside to curl up with his people once the fun is over. Popper's Personality Popper is a happy, playful boy who loves being where his people are. If you're in the room, he wants to be there too! He loves: Playing and running outside Getting the zoomies Playing with his resident dog friends Chew toys Squeaky toys Chasing a ball Car rides Pup cups Cuddling after playtime Give Popper some toys, some room to run, and a family to love, and you've got one happy boy! Life With Popper Popper is crate trained and potty trained. Like any young dog, he can occasionally have an accident if he is left alone for too long. He's still a puppy, so his family will need to continue giving him regular potty breaks and a little patience as he matures. He loves being outside and would enjoy a home where he has opportunities to run, play, explore, and burn off some of that puppy energy. A fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus for this boy, especially since his zoomies are something to behold! Once he's had his exercise, Popper is happy to come inside and snuggle with his people. He loves being close to his family and would prefer not to miss out on whatever is happening in the house. Other Dogs Popper is still working on becoming comfortable and friendly with unfamiliar dogs. He gets along wonderfully with his brother, Harvey, and enjoys playing with the resident dogs in his foster home. However, when meeting new dogs, he needs patience, slow introductions, and time to feel comfortable. Popper could do well with another dog with the right introduction and personality match, but he would also be perfectly happy being the only dog in his forever home. His family should be willing to let him take things at his own pace rather than expecting him to immediately become best friends with every dog he meets. Popper's Favorite Adventure Popper LOVES car rides! Put him in the car and he's ready for an adventure. And if that car ride ends with a pup cup, you've officially made his day. Popper's Perfect Family Popper is looking for a family who will appreciate him for the fun, affectionate puppy he is. He would love people who enjoy spending time outdoors, playing, going on adventures, and then relaxing together afterward. His ideal family will also understand that he is still learning when it comes to meeting unfamiliar dogs and will give him the patience and guidance he needs. Whether he's your outdoor adventure buddy, your backyard zoomie champion, your car-ride companion, or your couch cuddler, Popper is ready to be your best friend. Why Popper? Popper is a happy, playful, affectionate boy who has so much love to give. He'll make you laugh with his zoomies, keep you entertained with his toys, happily ride along for a pup cup, and then curl up next to you when it's time to relax. He's already crate trained and potty trained, and he's continuing to learn and grow every day. If you're looking for a fun-loving Beagle mix who wants to be part of your family, Popper may be the boy you've been waiting for! If you're interested in meeting, please fill out the application below! https://www.woofanimalrescue.org/adopt This dog is currently located in Chicago's southwest suburbs and can be seen by appointment once an adoption application is completed and approved by the rescue. Story
##2751243## Gabby is a beautiful young girl, estimated to be around 1.5 years old, who is searching for a patient and understanding family willing to give her the time she needs to truly shine. After arriving at the shelter as a puppy, Gabby spent about 8 months growing up behind kennel walls. Because of this, she's still learning what life outside the shelter is all about. New sights, sounds, people, and experiences can feel overwhelming at first, and Gabby will need a family committed to following the 3-3-3 rule and allowing her plenty of time to decompress, adjust, and build trust in her new home. Gabby is shy when meeting new people and does best with slow, gentle introductions. She may not show her true personality right away, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into a playful, affectionate, and incredibly sweet companion. The bond you build with Gabby will be well worth the wait. This goofy girl has a curious side that keeps everyone smiling. She's fascinated by her own reflection and can spend time trying to figure out who that dog in the mirror is! As she gains confidence, her playful personality emerges, and she becomes more eager to explore the world around her. Gabby can be sensitive to certain sounds and unfamiliar situations, so she'll thrive with patient adopters who can help her navigate new experiences at her own pace. Because Gabby spent much of her life in a shelter environment, she is not yet fully potty trained and is still learning what a consistent routine looks like. Her future family should expect to continue working on house training and understand that accidents may happen as she adjusts. With patience, structure, and positive reinforcement, she'll continue making progress. Gabby isn't looking for perfection, she's looking for someone who understands that trust takes time and that learning how to be a family dog is a journey. With love, patience, and consistency, this sweet girl will continue to grow into the confident, loving companion she's meant to be. If you're willing to give Gabby the gift of time, she'll reward you with a lifetime of loyalty, love, and plenty of laughs along the way. Story
Hi, I`m Pudgy! First things first- I would like to formally object to my name. Pudgy? Really? I`m a handsome, 40 pound beagle, thank you very much. I prefer to think of myself as distinguished and delightfully compact. I`m a really nice little guy who loves people, and I`m happiest when I`m hanging out with my humans. I`m eager to please, I know some commands, and I`m always willing to show off what I know if there`s attention involved. With other dogs, I like to be in charge, and I`m not shy about making my opinions known. So if there`s another dog in my future home, they should be respectful of the fact that I`m the boss. I can live with cats and people of all ages. Send in an application to meet me, and start thinking about a new name for me!

Story
Rollie was surrendered after his owner died. He had never lived inside until he came into rescue. He is now house and crate trained. He does love to run and play and hide his bones outside. He had very little socialization with other dogs and is a little dog selective (prefers females more than males). He's more of a loner than most. He has always been crated inside to avoid the mischief a beagle tends to get into with chewing items he isn't supposed to be chewing. It is more for his safety of not swallowing anything harmful. He will bark to let you know when he needs to go potty. He has been completely vetted. He deserves a home of his own to retire in and enjoy the rest of his life. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Please email us for the link to the adoption application.
