Story
Meet Popper!
Popper is a 8-month-old black-and-white Beagle mix with a fun-loving personality, a serious case of the zoomies, and a heart that loves to cuddle!
Popper is the perfect combination of playful puppy and affectionate snuggle buddy. He loves being outside, running around, playing with his dog friends, and then coming inside to curl up with his people once the fun is over.
Popper's Personality
Popper is a happy, playful boy who loves being where his people are. If you're in the room, he wants to be there too!
He loves:
Playing and running outside
Getting the zoomies
Playing with his resident dog friends
Chew toys
Squeaky toys
Chasing a ball
Car rides
Pup cups
Cuddling after playtime
Give Popper some toys, some room to run, and a family to love, and you've got one happy boy!
Life With Popper
Popper is crate trained and potty trained. Like any young dog, he can occasionally have an accident if he is left alone for too long. He's still a puppy, so his family will need to continue giving him regular potty breaks and a little patience as he matures.
He loves being outside and would enjoy a home where he has opportunities to run, play, explore, and burn off some of that puppy energy.
A fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus for this boy, especially since his zoomies are something to behold!
Once he's had his exercise, Popper is happy to come inside and snuggle with his people. He loves being close to his family and would prefer not to miss out on whatever is happening in the house.
Other Dogs
Popper is still working on becoming comfortable and friendly with unfamiliar dogs.
He gets along wonderfully with his brother, Harvey, and enjoys playing with the resident dogs in his foster home. However, when meeting new dogs, he needs patience, slow introductions, and time to feel comfortable.
Popper could do well with another dog with the right introduction and personality match, but he would also be perfectly happy being the only dog in his forever home.
His family should be willing to let him take things at his own pace rather than expecting him to immediately become best friends with every dog he meets.
Popper's Favorite Adventure
Popper LOVES car rides! Put him in the car and he's ready for an adventure.
And if that car ride ends with a pup cup, you've officially made his day.
Popper's Perfect Family
Popper is looking for a family who will appreciate him for the fun, affectionate puppy he is.
He would love people who enjoy spending time outdoors, playing, going on adventures, and then relaxing together afterward. His ideal family will also understand that he is still learning when it comes to meeting unfamiliar dogs and will give him the patience and guidance he needs.
Whether he's your outdoor adventure buddy, your backyard zoomie champion, your car-ride companion, or your couch cuddler, Popper is ready to be your best friend.
Why Popper?
Popper is a happy, playful, affectionate boy who has so much love to give.
He'll make you laugh with his zoomies, keep you entertained with his toys, happily ride along for a pup cup, and then curl up next to you when it's time to relax.
He's already crate trained and potty trained, and he's continuing to learn and grow every day.
If you're looking for a fun-loving Beagle mix who wants to be part of your family, Popper may be the boy you've been waiting for!
