Story
He is very good with people – including young kids and babies. He would be happiest with a fenced yard and/or a rural setting, in a home with no other pets. He is a very sweet boy, we love him very much, but we feel he would be happier in an area where he could live a more relaxed life (less stimuli/triggers). Our beloved Oliver is dog aggressive. He does live with his sister dog, but will take aggression out on her when he sees another dog (on walks, in the home etc). We live in a very dog-centric neighborhood and he is triggered daily by neighbors walking their dogs. He does wear a muzzle when on walks, and tolerates that well. He would make a great family dog as an only pet. He loves to cuddle, listens well, and is highly intelligent. We have been told his aggression is anxiety based, so we are hoping he can live a more peaceful life in the right environment for him.

Story
Bell is a 2 year old Beagle/German Shepherd who was adopted from the Humane Society. She is full of energy and enjoys play time with a chewy toy and going on walks. She is great on the leash - takes lead, but does not pull and walks better with a harness. A harness will be provided at time of adoption. She does have a history of being aggressive towards other dogs as noted when adopting her from the Humane Society; but from my own personal experience, she only has barking behaviors towards other dogs as a way of wanting to greet them. She is also an opportunist when it comes to human food. She has gone through basic behavioral training to help with the barking. She responds to the command 'Leave it' when she is barking and/or notices anything new or different. Bell is great with kids and will adopt well in a home with younger children. All of her vaccinations are up-to-date; paperwork and files of her background and medical information will be provided at time of adoption.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Miss Penny is a gentle sweetheart. She loves being petted and kissed once she warms up to you. She is shy and timid. She is small and is easily startled. I believe she is housebroken once you know her signal for wanting to go outside. Have not tried to train her because she is too skittish, but she does want to please, she just needs more confidence and an person that understands her. She's starting to sleep with her person. Not a barker, yet...(she IS a beagle). She walks tentatively on a leash, and she can be a chewer. She gets along with male & female dogs and cats. She will need a person who can be patient, as she learns to be more confident ,and  less fearful, to work with her. She would do best in a quiet, predictable home. If you think you can be Miss Penny's hero, fill out an application. Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
