Story
Meet Belle, a gentle soul with unshakable strength and a heart full of love. Belle’s story began behind a Piggly Wiggly in Camden, AL, where she lived alongside her friends Lizzie and Buster. Life there was harsh—food was scarce, danger was constant, and survival was never guaranteed. At some point, Belle suffered a broken hind leg that healed crooked, leaving a visible reminder of her struggles. But Belle never let her past slow her down. She walks, runs, and plays like any other dog, and the only thing she carries from her injury is her remarkable resilience. The leg doesn’t affect her daily life, though we keep an eye on it since the skin there is thin. What truly defines Belle is not her scar, but her sweet, gentle nature and her quiet determination to love and be loved. With her soft eyes and tender heart, Belle is ready for a forever home where she’ll be cherished for the survivor she is. If you’re looking for a companion who embodies grace, courage, and unconditional love, Belle is waiting to meet you.

Story
Hi, I’m JJ — yes, the JJ — a 12-year-old Beagle mix with the energy of a pup, the wisdom of a grandpa, and the charm of a seasoned heartthrob. 💁‍♂️🐾 For most of my life, I was devoted to my person (basically their shadow, therapist, and personal trainer all in one), but sadly they passed away. Now I’m ready to audition for my next leading role: Your One and Only Best Friend. Let’s talk lifestyle. I LOVE routine. Walks? Yes please. Multiple times a day? Even better. I strut like I’m on a runway — I mean, have you seen this slimmed-down figure? Thyroid condition? Handled. Medication? Easy peasy. Fabulous? Always. I’m a people guy through and through. When I love you, I LOVE you. Think loyal bodyguard meets cuddle connoisseur. I’ve got a protective streak (comes from loving hard), so I’m looking for someone who wants a dog that’s truly theirs. Other dogs? I’ll be polite, wave hello from across the street… and keep it moving. I prefer the spotlight, thank you very much. Solo act only. 🎭 If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will adore you, keep you on your walking schedule, and make you feel like the most important person in the world… 👉 I’m JJ. And I’ve been waiting for you Please complete the application to meet me and let’s make it happen. Story
Bandit has already overcome more in his short life than most dogs ever should. At just 3 months old and 12 pounds, this sweet boy was abandoned on the side of a road in Puerto Rico alongside his sister, suffering from a severe skin condition that left him uncomfortable, vulnerable, and without anyone to care for him. Thankfully, rescue stepped in before it was too late. Today, Bandit is fully healed and absolutely thriving. Now that he's healthy, his fun-loving personality shines through every day. Bandit is incredibly friendly, playful, and always ready for an adventure. He loves meeting new people, making friends, and turning ordinary moments into playtime. He's the kind of puppy who approaches life with pure joy and enthusiasm. Bandit is wonderful with children and would make an amazing family dog. He loves attention, enjoys being part of the action, and has the perfect mix of playful energy and affectionate sweetness. After a day of fun, he's more than happy to curl up beside his people for cuddles and a well-earned nap. After such a difficult start, Bandit deserves a lifetime of love, safety, and happiness. He has left his painful past behind and is ready to start his next chapter with a family who will cherish him forever. Could Bandit be the missing piece your family has been waiting for?
