Story
Victoria is the definition of a perfect, loyal companion. At just 3 years old and 21 pounds, she’s the ideal lap dog—gentle, loving, incredibly loyal, and happiest simply being by your side. She’s the kind of best friend who just wants to make you feel loved.
Victoria is the perfect blend of intelligence and affection. She’s smart, eager to learn, and thrives on human connection. While she gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, she’s truly a people dog. Given the choice, she’ll always choose cuddles with her favorite person over playing with other dogs.
Victoria’s Story
Victoria’s story began with heartbreak. She and her daughter were abandoned when their owners moved away and left them behind. For several days, they waited faithfully on the street, refusing to leave the place they once called home. They barely ate and never stopped hoping their family would return.
Thankfully, a compassionate neighbor stepped in and brought them to our rescue partner, SOS El Arca, where they received the veterinary care, safety, and love they desperately needed.
Her daughter has since found her forever home, and now it’s Victoria’s turn.
Although she’s safe at the shelter and gets along well with her kennel mates, it’s clear that what Victoria truly longs for is a family of her own—a soft bed, a warm home, and someone to love forever. You can see how much she craves that special bond.
Victoria has a moderate energy level and enjoys daily walks just as much as quiet evenings snuggled on the couch. Whether you’re heading out on an adventure or simply relaxing at home, she’s happiest right beside you.
She has all the qualities of a true, loyal best friend and will fill your days with unconditional love and endless smiles.

Victoria has the opportunity to travel to New York on our September transport if she has a committed adopter or foster-to-adopt family waiting for her.
Victoria survived the heartbreak of being abandoned by the people she trusted most. Now she’s waiting for the sunshine of a forever family to show her what love truly feels like.
