    Meet Doug. We are helping his family rehome him. Doug is 6 years old and is a Beagle/Jack Russell mix. He is a perfect size at only 29 pounds. Doug is on inexpensive thyroid medicine and medicine for seizures. He will need a home without young children. Doug should have a cat free home but can have a submissive canine companion. Meet Daisy!! She is being surrendered to us due to lifestyle change. Daisy is a sweet little one, born in 5/24 and only 23 lbs.  She has lived with another dog. If true to a Beagles wonderful temperament, she is probably fine with cats and older respectful children. She is fully vetted, spayed, all vaccines and heartworm tested negative. We do prefer an adopter has a fenced yard because of her breed. We also prefer a home where someone is home a good deal of the time. Daisy is not fond of being in a crate. Her adoption fee is $250. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog.
