    Meet Doug. We are helping his family rehome him. Doug is 6 years old and is a Beagle/Jack Russell mix. He is a perfect size at only 29 pounds. Doug is on inexpensive thyroid medicine and medicine for seizures. He will need a home without young children. Doug should have a cat free home but can have a submissive canine companion. She came to us very pregnant and uncertain, and an X-ray showed she was carrying four puppies. From the moment they arrived, Macy showed the world what kind of dog she is — an exceptional mama. She dotes on her babies, plays with them, watches over them carefully, and makes sure they are always safe and loved. Macy has an intensity to her affection that is impossible to miss. She will look at you with big, open, soulful eyes — the kind that seem to ask for love while offering all of hers in return. There’s a tenderness about her that tells us she likely didn’t have an easy life, and being abandoned while pregnant only reinforces that. And yet… she still trusts. She still loves. She still opens her heart to people. That kind of resilience speaks volumes about Macy’s beautiful spirit. She is sweet, gentle, affectionate, and deeply loyal. Macy will thrive in a home where she can finally be someone’s priority — where her love can be returned in full. Meet Cora! This 5 year old beagle girl has the most beautiful eyes and soul! Cora weighs about 38 lbs. Cora is dog friendly and loves to play with her canine friends. She also previously lived with a cat (Cora was surrendered to us when her previous owner had some personal medical issues). Cora enjoys playing in her foster mom's backyard. She is good with her foster mom's grandchildren but seems to prefer canine companionship over human companionship right now. She comes to humans for pets and scratches, but isn't a cuddler. Cora is crate trained and stays in her crate when her foster mom is away. She wasn't potty trained at first, but with structure Cora caught on fast and hasn't had an accident in a while. Smart girl! Ace is 4 years old Born on October 10th He is very nice to humans, he loves attention He can be a little jumpy with some people but with the right training he can learn. Ace is a beagle, so he howls and has big ears. I would love Ace to be in a dog lover home. My schedule is getting rough and the older i got is taking a toll on me mentally to take care of him and other personal things.

We got Delilah as a puppy in 2014 from a former student of mine. Both her mom and dad were hunters. Unfortunately, we have never been able to provide her the space she needs to be a beagle. We moved five years ago and now have even less space. We should have found her a better home at that time, but didn’t want to let her go. But we are not being fair to her, and she deserves more space and more attention than we can provide. Full disclosure this has led to a lot of accidents inside the house. We also believe her hearing is starting to go. She is such a lover and deserves more love than we are currently giving her. And lots of outdoor space for her to roam would be heaven for her.
