Meet Sam
Sam has officially arrived in Wisconsin and is settling in with his foster family.
Now that he’s safe and getting comfortable, Sam is ready for the next exciting step — finding his forever home.
This sweet 6-month-old Beagle mix came from a local surrender case in Georgia, where the shelter believes his previous owner was breeding and selling puppies. Sam and his brother Dean were the last of their litter still waiting for homes, and Sam has already shown incredible resilience and heart.
Despite his rough start, Sam is a happy, playful, and affectionate puppy. He is dog friendly, cat friendly, and kid friendly, making him a wonderful fit for many types of households. Like most puppies his age, Sam is currently working on potty training, crate training, and leash manners, and he’s making steady progress with the guidance of his foster family.
Sam currently weighs about 25 lbs and is expected to be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and has received dewormer.
