Meet Margo( we call her "Mama") This sweet old lady was found last year with a few other dogs on the side of the road toss out like trashed on a hot summer day. a kind family scooped them up and brought them to us . That night while with the family she went into labor and gave birth to one single little baby. She took great care of that baby an now its her turn to find a loving home in her golden years. We think she is 11, and that's just a guess no one knows since they were found on the side of the road. She has been spayed, she is housetrained and is heart wormed neg, but was use for breeding and all the dogs she was with still had milk and they were finished nursing a litter of pups and maybe were too old and were done with them. Here back knees are stiff, there nothing that will be done , she walks and runs just fine. She is quite unless she is hungry or needs to go potty. Siren is a calm, gentle, quiet girl who joined us from rural Kentucky. It appeared she had had very little human interaction when joining BAARK last year, but with time and patience, she has come out of her shell and has become a little more confident….but does have a ways to go. Siren is definitely a Mix Breed, possibly a Beagle-Heeler, with other breeds sprinkled in! She’s an estimated 32 lbs. born in January of 2021. This sweet girl enjoys the company of other dogs in her foster home, but prefers calm dogs. She can become startled by loud noises and quick movement but as her confident continues to grow, such things will likely not bother her. Siren is most likely to thrive in a quieter household consisting of adults. But older children, respectful of animals, would be good for Siren as well. She’d really enjoy the companionship of a calm, possibly older dog too. A secure fenced yard is also a plus. Siren is up to date on her vaccinations, heartworm negative and on year-round heartworm prevention, spayed and microchipped. She is believed to be housebroken as well. Despite everything he’s been through, Cash’s spirit shines bright. He was rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation, where he was found chained to a tree in the backyard—isolated and forgotten. Though the rescue team was originally there for a group of Chihuahuas, they couldn’t leave Cash behind. While they couldn’t keep him, we welcomed him with open arms and have been helping him heal ever since. 💛 Personality & Temperament: Cash is incredibly friendly and affectionate. He adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He thrives on companionship—whether it’s playing with his canine pals or simply lounging in the yard.
