Meet Emma! This sweet well adjusteud girl is ready to meet her forever family. Emma gets along well with other dogs and tolerates cats. She’s shy around new people, especially men, but if left alone, warms up quickly. Once past the introduction phase, she actually loves attention and will snuggle with you on the couch, even trying to sit on your lap! Because she’s an attention diva, she’ll do well as an only dog but doesnt have to be an only dog. So far, her only drawback is she doesn’t do well around young children. Their sudden movements make her nervous. Older kids, 10 and up should be OK. Emma is house and crate trained. She does well left on her own in the house, even for several hours or overnight. She walks well on leash, no pulling or lagging. Her energy level is medium to low. She enjoys laying on the deck watching for squirrels or bunnies. She’s a talker, and barks when excited or if she hears something, making her a good watch dog. Emma is spayed, up to date on vaccines.

Mr. Apollo here is an active and smart boy. He enjoys solving his doggie puzzles, having lick mats, laying in the sun, and playing with his toys. He is a very good boy in the car and enjoys walks. He is house trained and knows sit, stay, lay down, spin, and free. Apollo was adopted from a shelter while he was heart worm positive. After many hard months of restricted activity, vet visits, and lots of sleep - he has been heartworm negative for almost a year and a half! He is currently prescribed to Simparica Trio - his remaining 5 month supply will be included with him. Something to keep in mind is he does bark when meeting new people and takes a few minutes to warm up to new people. He is a very sweet boy but needs time to bark and get to know guests. A new home for Apollo would be best with another dog (preferably smaller than him) since he loves playing. He is very sweet and gentle to young children. He also prefers nuzzling into a folded blanket (over a bed) so he can nest.

At 45 lbs. she is the perfect size for most homes and puppy shenanigans are a thing of the past. While she enjoys the outdoors and doing the typical Beagle sniff around, a home where she can relax with you inside and savor some family time would be a dream. Regular walks are also on her wish list. Betsy is crate trained but is not overly eager to travel in one. She is somewhat wary of strangers and does experience anxiety when she’s around other animals. Betsy is good with children of all ages. She is in good health and does well eating kibble for sensitive stomachs served in a puzzle bowl to keep her from gobbling up her food. Does Betsy sound like a good match for your family?
