Story

Shiner is a sweet 7 year about to be 8 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback. She loves walks, being with her owners, and is loyal 100%. She loves going to dog parks and playing and running with the other dogs but will always make sure to come and find her owners. The reason for the rehoming is we have a young child and are not able to keep up with the exercise demands that Rhodesians require. She is fully house trained and even did training directly with all dogs unleashed. Her walking ability is great as she doesn’t pull on the leash at all and will walk right by your side.

Story

🎶🩷 Adopt Reba or Dolly 🩷🎶 These sisters were dumped and helped by Good Samaritans. They seem to have been in a home at one point because they have very good house manners - potty and crate trained and LOOOVVVEEE their people. They walk great on a leash and are good car riders. Each are about 70 lbs of pure love. Dolly and Reba are 2 years old and have the best smiles and if you want a good tv buddy - they are happy to sit right next to you. In fact, as close as they can to cuddle! They are good with other dogs and kids but chase cats so probably best in a cat free home. The girls look to be hound/ridgeback mixes. Come meet these beauties. Reba and Dolly are available through Animal Advocates of North Texas and are being fostered in Southlake. They will be totally vetted. Please help us by sharing this post!

Spayed/Chipped/VaccinatedHouse TrainedFood MotivatedGreat with kidsGreat with other dogsAffectionate/CuddlyBug was a stray we found wandering outside late one night. She didn’t have a chip and no one claimed her, so we decided to foster her. We are not able to keep her much longer, unfortunately, so we need to find her a home soon. She gives a lot of kisses, loves belly rubs, and plays really well. She’s just a pup, so she has a lot of energy and loves to run around. We believe she’d do great having another dog to bond and play with since she does have so much energy! She’s well house trained, very food motivated, and has a submissive personality type. She’s a smart, adventurous pup, and is ready for her fur-ever home!

Story

Dolly is a joyful girl who is easy to handle, loves a good belly rub and engaging with everyone she has met. Dolly is currently non-weight-bearing on her right forelimb (RF), with noticeable swelling of digit #3. These symptoms may indicate a painful injury or underlying medical condition requiring prompt veterinary evaluation and treatment. Without appropriate intervention, Dolly may experience continued pain, worsening swelling, and further complications. She requires further diagnostic assessment and appropriate medical care to determine the underlying cause and provide relief. This level of veterinary evaluation and treatment may exceed what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment.Despite her condition, Dolly deserves a safe, compassionate placement where she can receive prompt veterinary evaluation, appropriate treatment, and supportive care to improve her comfort and mobility.Dolly is at risk for euthanasia due to medical concerns beyond our scope of care.
