Story
Border Collie Male 3yrs old. This has been a very difficult decision, but after having him for the past four months, I truly believe he would do best with someone who can provide the environment and resources he needs to thrive. He is an incredibly intelligent dog and has done well with basic obedience training. Unfortunately, due to changes in my living situation, limited space, and my inability to afford a qualified behavioral trainer, I am no longer able to give him the level of support and enrichment he deserves. He appears to have some trauma in his past. He can be guarded around certain men, although not all men, and I suspect he may have experienced abuse or spent time as a stray before coming into my care. He has never shown this behavior toward women. Because he can be sensitive to fast movements and loud noises, I believe he would do best in a home without young children. He is not kennel trained and struggles with significant anxiety. He would be

Looking for a loving home that will be patient while he adjustment. Koda is a very chill dog. He doesn’t do too much mostly likes to lay around, and occasionally gives paw. Loves being rubbed behind the ears. He is potty trained, and doesn’t require much space as he is used to living in an apartment.He was adopted in 2021 from Path for paws in Las Vegas. He is chipped but not up to date on all vaccines. He does well with other smaller dogs, but doesn’t like dogs that won’t give him space. He’s a shy guy so he does need a moment to warm up to new environments & other pets. Does well in a kennel and learns rules very quickly.Listed as medium because he is 55lbs

We got Charlie and his brother and his mother (but they dont look anything like each other so who knows) from a man who was moving across the country and didnt want to take them to a shelter that would likely kill them and we fell in love and didnt want to see them killed either. The three of them are really so sweet and friendly with people, after a brief introduction of course. They are a pretty tight pack and dont allow others in to their pack easily. So, regardeless should they be kept together or split up, its likely going to be a challenge to integrate them with other dogs. I dont know how to do it. Lots of energy. Loves to play fetch but will need to be taught how to bring the toy back to you. Will make a great watch dog if you can teach him how to not bark at the neighbors or passers by. I feel like these dogs will need someone who knows how to train them properly and has the energy to burn on walks with him or them.

I rescued Kelly and her sister Olivia from the Devore animal shelter , they were set to be euthanized due to space . Kelly is like a child , loves her toys and her kiddie pool , very playful and full of life . Loves to run . Would make a great jogging companion. Great with other dogs , not dog or food aggressive at all. Please give this girl a second chance in life for I am unable to keep her .

I saved Olivia from euthanasia, her and her sister Kelly were at the Devore animal shelter. Olivia has had some training, she will sit , lay down and stay . Walks good on a leash , good in the car , loves toys and her kiddie pool . Loves to run and play with her sister and my other rescues . Great watch dog. Please give this girl a second chance at life as I am unable to keep her.
