Story
Shut the front door—meet Ellie! This stunning girl is elegance, brains, and heart all wrapped into one gorgeous 1-year-old Border. Ellie is about 30 lbs (could use ~5 more) and absolutely shines in an active home that can keep up with her quick mind and happy feet.   Ellie’s play style is fast and her energy is high, making her an ideal match for an outdoorsy family or an individual looking for a running or hiking buddy. She’s clever (counter-surfers beware ), eager to learn, and would be a fantastic agility prospect with the right guidance and enrichment.   She’s house trained, good with other dogs and cats, and uses her crate by choice—it’s there for her comfort, not confinement. Ellie would thrive with a large yard or acreage where she can stretch her legs and put her smarts to work.   If you’re ready for a loyal, athletic companion who just needs the right energy match, Ellie might be your girl.   More info: 949-456-7032 or 949-842-2517 Apply to adopt: www.greendogfoundation.com Email: greendogfoundation@gmail.com   Physical Qualities   Age: 1 year Weight: ~30 lbs (could gain ~5 lbs) Breed: Border Collie  Coat/Color: Black & white Temperament: Smart, energetic, affectionate Training: House trained; crate trained Compatibility: Dogs &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Cats &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Ideal Home: Active lifestyle, enrichment-focused, yard or acreage    March 8, 2026, 1:58 pm

Taz Jr. and his two sisters, Goldie and Spotty, were found in the home of their deceased owner and were in rough shape when they were rescued. Despite his difficult start, Taz Jr. has shown nothing but a sweet, gentle disposition and a quiet resilience that makes everyone who meets him root for his happy ending.   He walks nicely on leash and enjoys getting out for strolls. What he really needs now is a loving forever home where he can settle into a routine, decompress, and finally feel safe and cared for. With a little patience and a lot of love, Taz Jr. will blossom into an incredibly loyal and devoted companion.   If you're looking for a kind-hearted dog with soulful eyes and a sweet smile, Taz Jr. may be the perfect addition to your family. Despite this trauma, her spirit remains incredibly sweet and her loyalty to humans is unwavering. Currently weighing 39 pounds, Goldie is a little underweight and needs a patient home where she can focus on physical recovery and decompression. She grew up alongside other dogs and finds great comfort in their company, so her ideal forever home is with an existing canine sibling to help her feel at home again.  Goldie is a devoted companion who is ready to leave her past behind. She’s only 4 years old. She just needs a family willing to provide the steady meals and abundant love necessary to help her become her healthiest self again. Story
This is a courtesy post on behalf of one of the incredible trainers our rescue knows. If you are interested in adopting Maggie, please email us and we will put you in touch with them directly! Maggie is an 8 year old (DOB: 11/16/17) spayed female Border Collie. She is up to date on all vaccinations, fecal testing, routine lab work and dental cleaning! No health problems to speak of, though she does have one small lipoma (benign fatty growth) on her ribs that does not require treatment per her vet. She weighs about 40lbs. Maggie is extremely affectionate and loves to be close to her human, always awaiting direction, but if there are no tasks to complete, she is just as happy to cuddle on the couch or go to her bed to relax. She loves fetch, and has been in training for many months to help with her herding behaviors on leash. She now walks politely and knows sit, down, stay, heel, come, place, roll over, shake and play dead. She LOVES training and is still very capable of learning many more new behaviors! She loves to play fetch, go for long walks/hikes, but absolutely knows how to relax as well. She crates well (in the house or car), is housebroken, and has perfect house manners. She is currently fostered with 2 senior male dogs, a cat, and an 11-year old girl (who she loves dearly!). We do believe Maggie could be placed in a home with another animal, however, we feel strongly that she would prefer to be the only pet in the home. Older, calm children would also be fine, but we know she needs a generally calm household, so one that has many children/visitors coming and going frequently could be a bit much for her. She has no interest in playing with other animals, and rather simply does her best to ignore them and maintain focus and connection with her humans, so another pet in the home who consistently tried to interact with her, would not be a great fit, but we think she could live with a very calm, very neutral dog or a dog-savvy cat after a thorough and structured introduction. Maggie will still take a very “herdy” posture (she will crouch and stare very intensely) when she sees other animals in certain circumstances, but only rarely displays this behavior now after much training and practice at redirection. We only see this behavior in unfamiliar environments and in close quarters (such as in a crowded lobby at Vet appts). We no longer see this behavior in her normal, every day life, on walks, etc. Maggie is up for adoption through no fault of her own. Her senior owners were simply no longer able to care for her due to medical issues, and her extended family very much wants her to find an amazing forever home that will appreciate her! The ideal home for Maggie would be one that understands her human focus and won’t pressure her to interact with other animals. She won’t be a dog park/dog beach girl, but she would love to take trips to the park to play fetch with her human, train, and generally just accompany them at home and in day-to-day life. Her favorite thing to do is snuggle and connect with her people in any way possible! She needs someone willing to continue her training and help her transition into her new home, and her trainer will gladly assist with that at no charge to her adopter!

Story
Her name is Lady! She's a border collie mix & 2 years old with about 3 months. An important note is She Isn't Available without her brother Navy, who is a handsome husky mix & 1years old. She's very smart, loyal, she cares deeply, sweet & loves people especially kids! She's potty trained & more than likely won't bother you for the bathroom she'll do it while she's on a walk (yes, she has a bladder like that is great lol, rarely does she go number two it's usually number one). I want to be honest because I want somebody who actually can handle keeping her & her brother. She does get a little anxious when going in the car, by that, I mean it'll take time to teach her how to get in or you might have to pick her up and put her in the car. But once you get her inside shes good to go! She likes the window down to stick her head out. She can definitely protect you as well.

Story
Meet Mosey Fields,  a very special  puppy  who is  just under one year old. Mosey has a neurological condition, most likely Cerebral Hypoplasia, which makes him a special-needs dog. Despite his challenges, Mosey is a joyful and big-hearted pup. We recently put him in a jacuzzi with a swim vest, and he learned a lot about connecting his body with his brain. Initially, Mosey used to squirm on the floor like a reptile, but now  he  walks and romps  around  without a harness. Although he still does well with a harness for stability, he can now walk  by himself  in a large carpeted bedroom area. Mosey has made  great  progress -  he  has learned to track, make eye contact, jump on and off the couch, and loves to cuddle. He has also been playful around other dogs and adores people. This little fighter will benefit from a wheelchair and  will  thrive in a loving home. Consider making him a part of your family, and he will return the love and continue to grow into the best version of himself. If you're interested in adopting Mosey, please fill out an application at www.doggiebonez.com. You can also check out our social media pages on Instagram (@Doggie_Bonez_Inc_) and Facebook (Doggie Bonez) to see more of Mosey's cuteness. Our dog adoption fee, which includes vaccinations, fecal testing, wellness exams, microchipping, spaying, or neutering, is $500. If adoption isn't feasible, please consider fostering one of our pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome new short or long-term doggie foster families. Doggie Bonez will provide you with everything you need, including dog food, a bed, toys, medical attention (if required), and more. So, if you're interested, please visit www.doggiebonez.com to see all of our available dogs who need a foster family while waiting for their forever home and complete the foster application.March 8, 2026, 12:19 am
