Meet Furstili, a delightful dog whose gentle soul shines through the moment you meet her. She can be a little worried and shy when first meeting new people but she warms up quickly! Once she warms up to you, her heart opens wide, revealing a loyal and loving companion. Due to her initial shyness, any kids in the home should be old enough to go slow with her in the beginning. With patience and understanding, Furstili blossoms into a confidant, offering unwavering loyalty and endless affection to her forever family. Embracing her shy nature with grace, she reminds us that the deepest connections are often found in quiet moments of understanding. If you`re ready to embark on a journey of trust and companionship, Furstili eagerly awaits the chance to be your devoted friend. What I Need In a Home:* Older children recommended

Story
Rosey hasn't been able to catch a break we hope finnally we can give her just that! She needed a savior she found herself picked up as a stray / wandering dog in San Antonio Texas. She was taken to a high kill shelter by animal control. She ended up getting pulled by a rescue nearly a year ago. She was dropped off at a boarding facility and abandoned by that rescue with 29 other dogs. The boarding facility was understaffed and under funded. The dogs in their care weren't getting what they needed and acs was recalled to pick them up. All 30 dogs including Rosey were going to be euthanized. Luckily we had the opportunity to help so we did just that. We saved Rosey and another dog named Jerry from meeting that unfortunate fate.   Rosey loves other dogs, she's good on a leash and adores children. She is mild energy. She would fit great with any life style.   ##2035409##

Meet Kai! Currently in Durango. Kai is a total sweetheart! He is a cuddlebug and prefers the couch and plushy beds to being outside (though he loves to hang in pools during the summer LOL) He likes to act like he's an athlete going for good walks and enjoying agility club but in reality his legs get sore from time to time and he needs to be monitored so he doesn't go to hard on them. He has had an acl repair. We had xrays taken this year and his legs are okay but as with any major injury, he'll feel it as he gets older.  Kai has become my building buddy, hanging with us as we do construction on our new training room. He ignores the loud tools and just curls up happy to be hanging inside with us :) Easy on a leash, great walking even with another dog, needs a sweater! :)   ##562396##

Story
Poppy (fka Noelle) is a fun sweet energetic almost 8 mos old BC mix. Maybe with Lab, Heeler or Sighthound. She is about 34#, loves other dogs, was curious about but friendly with the foster cat, and loves to go on walkies and hiking. Poppy can be a little shy at first but it doesn't last long. Poppy is looking for an active home with another younger friendly dog to play with, a fenced in backyard to run around, and humans who are not gone long hours. She is learning some basic cues. She has not been tested with children but a respectful older child 10+ should be fine as she does jump some. She is a sweet puppy who likes to cuddle but also is ready to play at a moment’s notice. She does have a nice off switch when needed. She is crate trained, potty trained, and sleeps through the night if she potties right before bedtime. She may need a refresher in a new home with a new routine. If you are interested in meeting Poppy, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Poppy is spayed, utd on vaccs, and chipped. Her adoption fee is $400 and we are not doing any out of state adoptions.  April 27, 2024, 7:46 pm

Hi, I'm Bella! I've got energy to spare and a heart full of love. I'm a bit shy at first, but give me a minute and you'll see just how affectionate I can be. My favorite things in the world are treats and my stuffed toy. I carry it everywhere! I'm great with older kids too. I love their energy and they seem to understand my quirks. Sometimes, I get a little scared, but with a bit of patience and a lot of love, I come out of my shell. I'm looking for a family who'll appreciate my zest for life and won't mind a few cuddles on the couch. Virtual training sessions are also included in my adoption! Adopt me and let's make beautiful memories together!Longest stay pets like Bella are sponsored by The Wilhite Law Firm.April 28, 2024, 1:43 am

Events are held each Saturday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event:https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##1868618##

Story
Hello! So Indy came into my life a bit unexpectedly. Last September I offered to foster her for some friends who were scrambling and after a couple weeks I decided to adopt her. She’s great around the woodshop I work at and loves the guys, vice versa. However, I’m going back to school in the fall and am trying to move. Neither of those things is conducive to a young (1 year) pup with high energy. I would feel so bad leaving her cooped up for hours. Indy would do best in a house with another dog. She LOVES meeting everyone and other dogs. She can get a bit overexcitable if there’s a lot going on, but very sweet natured. She’s up to date on shots, neutered, knows her basic commands, and is very house trained. Really a sweetie who needs a higher energy home with patience. She’s an amazing off leash hiking buddy, running partner, camp queen. Her recall is pretty darn good, enjoys fetch, hikes, evening couch snugs, and very food motivated. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Story
Nellie is absolutely the sweetest, most passive dog I've ever known. We have loved her and tried to help her not be so shy but she comes from an abusive background we think and it has gotten to a point that I feel it's detrimental to her. She loves hikes and walks. Is absolutely potty trained. Gets along well with all animals. It's just people she is terrified of. I think someone with the right experience and more time. Possibly just a single, quiet female would do best with her. She is such a sweetheart. But if this situation isn't best for her I want what is. She will come when called generally and knows a few commands.

Story
Freya is the most loyal hiking and outdoor adventure buddy around. She is a great frisbee dog and is the best companion with a heart of gold and great listening skills. She will love you deeply and melt your heart with her big brown eyes. She is great company but also very independent. Freya is well trained and fully potty trained. She may do well with another dog but would be happiest in a family with no young kids.
