Skye is a fun, energetic, playful dog who needs someone who will throw a ball or frisbee for her, take hikes/walks, and cuddle on the couch with. Skye is approximately 5 years old and she was originally adopted from the Soul Dog Rescue. My fiancé and I are trying for a baby and unfortunately have come to the very difficult decision to re-home her. With the financial aspect of going through treatment and taking care of two dogs, we just ultimately decided this is what is right. Skye loves playing with other dogs! She is a very social dog. She has made friends at dog parks and it makes her very happy. She is great with children and people. She is house trained and knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, and down, in addition, she is fully crate trained (acts as a safe space for her). Skye has had a history with tummy issues so she is on a prescription diet, but takes to it really well. She is a very healthy and fit dog. She is a great dog and I hope to find a loving place for her!

She would do great in a home with kids that like to play fetch. She lives to play fetch! She knows many commands, is very obedient, and well trained. Her shots are up to date. She has a cracked tooth that needs to be watched... I have her medical records available if you need them.
