Story
Bruce is a 1-year-old, sweet, goofy, high-energy dog who brings a lot of personality wherever he goes. He’s affectionate, curious, and still very much in that fun, playful stage of life.He would thrive in a home with a backyard and someone who enjoys an active lifestyle — long walks, hikes, or just getting outside regularly. He’s not a couch potato, he wants to be part of things. This isn’t a rushed decision. I care deeply about Bruce and want to find the right home for him — someone who has the time, space, and patience to give him the life he deserves. He has a lot of love to give, and I want to make sure it goes to the right person.

Story
Meet Speckles — Your New Best Friend  If you're looking for a loyal, cuddly companion to share your adventures, look no further than Speckles! This handsome retriever/collie mix (approximately 4 years old per EAPL vet review) is ready to find the family he's been waiting for. Speckles is the whole package — he walks beautifully on leash, knows how to "sit pretty," and won't drive your neighbors crazy with barking. He's a true people-lover who lights up around humans and gets along great with other dogs, making him a wonderful fit for multi-pet households. When it comes to fun, this boy means business. Toss him a ball or a Kong and watch his eyes light up — then take him for a walk and you'll have a happy, tired pup by evening. Speckles thrives with activity and would absolutely flourish in a home with a yard where he can stretch his legs and explore. Speckles is clearly a smart cookie who is eager to please — with a little consistent training on basic commands, he's going to be an absolute star. If you're an active family or individual ready to invest a little time and a lot of love, Speckles will pay you back tenfold. Apply to adopt this  handsome  guy at EAPL.com— we have a feeling it'll be love at first sight.    Put in an application at eapl.com. His adoption fee is $375 March 7, 2026, 2:40 pm

Story
Meet Archer!  Archer is a handsome Border Collie/Lab mix who is almost 1 year old and weighs 58 pounds — and he is absolutely everything you could want in a dog. He brings the fun with his playful, puppy-like energy, but don't let that fool you — Archer has a wonderful off switch too. He spends most of his days calmly hanging out in a home office, patiently keeping his foster parent company while they work. Lazy mornings on the couch? He's in. Adventure at the park? Also in. Archer loves toys, cuddles, other dogs, and people — basically, he loves life. He's a natural social butterfly who gets along with everyone he meets. Fair warning: he also has a taste for shoes, so you may want to keep those out of reach while he's still working on what's his to chew!  The good news is that Archer is highly food motivated, which makes him an absolute joy to train. He's already almost fully house trained and is picking up basic manners quickly. With a little patience and consistency, this boy is going to be an absolutely incredible companion. You can already see the amazing dog he's becoming — Archer just needs the right family to help him get there. Could that be you?   Put in an application at eapl.com His adoption fee is $375     April 7, 2026, 3:03 pm

Story
Chelsea is 2.5yo powerhouse of energy and affection. She’s crate trained and settles well but she would love a lifestyle of activity and exercise. She’d probably be happiest with 2, 20-30 min walks or just an hour of fetch. She gets so excited for walks she tends to pull and we’re still working on our off leash, recall! She knows “sit, stay, leave it, excuse me, back up, down, up, let’s walk” and “turn around.” She’s looking for an owner that will keep her active and let her snuggle up on the bed. She loves kids and I think she’d do great with a family. **She also has a year package at zoom room in Littleton which includes 50 classes, multiple private lessons and open play sessions**

Everest is 100% puppy in the best possible way. Every day he’s discovering something new—whether it’s mastering the stairs, bravely hopping off the couch, or exploring every corner of the house like the little adventurer he is. He loves to play, especially with his older foster brother, and is always ready for a game or a toy to chase. When the zoomies hit, Everest is all in—racing around with pure puppy joy before eventually settling in for some sweet cuddle time. Everest is also working hard on his potty training and is already doing a great job holding it until he gets outside. Smart, curious, and full of personality, he’s the kind of puppy who learns something new every day. With his playful spirit and big explorer energy, Everest is going to bring so much fun and love to his future family.
