Story
Luna is 4 years old. She was a Rescue puppy. Luna is a very sweet yet neurotic border collie. She loves to play fetch and unique sounds get her excited. She is an excellent listener but you have to know her potty routines and she will be great! My life circumstances don’t allow me to give her the time that she deserves. Looking for a loving home that she can get the attention she deserves. Luna has an older sister dog, Maizey, a heeler mix, that I’d like to have them adopted together, if possible.

Story
Princess Tomboy here, are you curious about my unusual name? I totally understand, I’m curious about most things…let me tell you a little about myself! If I were a human, my sport would be rugby, I’m a rough and tumble girl with an active play style therefore I need another playful pup in my life (if you don’t have another dog and would consider adopting 2 check out Tuuli, she’s a real sweetheart, and we get along great in our Denver foster home; she even lets me take her toys). A fenced yard is high on my wish list as I love doing zoomies and chasing bunnies, birds, squirrels, etc. A fence helps keep me safe. I enjoy my walks and I’m learning my commands. One thing my foster mom was particularly proud of was when I picked up a chicken bone in the park, she told me to drop it, I did; this has happened twice now. Do you know how hard that is, they’re yummy. I have solid recall and walk well on leash, I’m making good progress stopping and waiting at corners and learning to sit. I love water and I’m sure hiking is something I would enjoy. I am young and need a home committed to continuing my training. I do have a snuggly side and love to curl up with my people and will sleep through the night. My wiggle butt involves my entire body when I see you. I’m such a happy girl! I know this is a lot, but I guess that’s the princess part of my name. I figure I have one shot at this forever home thing and I want to make sure it works for both of us. If I seem to be a good fit for you why wait please fill out the application and add a little joy to your life! Thanks for taking the time to read my profile love Princess Tomboy. If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $300 and I am spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations ##2732831##

Story
Oliver is a beautiful 6 year old black and white Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix with an intelligent and sensitive personality. He thrives in open spaces and would do best in a calm, loving home with lots of land or room to roam and explore with other dogs. He’s happiest when he can be outside, stay active, and bond closely with his people. Oliver is incredibly smart, observant, and affectionate once he feels comfortable. Like many herding breeds, he does best with consistency, structure, and someone who understands active working dogs. He would be an amazing fit for a home in the country or with someone experienced with Border Collies or Australian Shepherds. Ideally Ollie’s new home will provide plenty of space, patience, companionship, and the stable environment he deserves.

Story
Name: Carmella Breed: Border Collie Sex: Female Age: 2 year old Weight: 45 lbs. Carmella has some behavioral needs, and she's available for adoption or through a foster-to-adopt arrangement. Good with dogs? Carmella will need a slow introduction to other dogs Good with cats? No Good with kids? Not tested but based on her behavior with meeting new people we would recommend she go to a kid free home. Energy level: High. Carmella is a driven Border Collie with a strong need for mental stimulation. She would thrive in a home where she has a job to do—bonus points if her adopter is interested in helping her learn how to herd! With her high energy and working-dog instincts, Carmella would love nothing more than a purpose-filled life where she can stay active and engaged. Animal Characteristics: Carmella is a beautiful, sensitive soul searching for someone special to help her shine. This shy girl hasn’t had the easiest start, and she’s still learning to trust the world around her. When meeting new people, Carmella can be fearful— but with patience, structure, and love, she begins to open up. Her ideal home will be with an experienced, compassionate adopter committed to continuing her training and providing slow, gentle introductions to new people and situations. Carmella isn’t the kind of dog who will greet you with tail wags and kisses on day one — but if you give her time and understanding, you’ll earn the love of a truly loyal companion. Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at www.pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process. I look forward to meeting you!

Story
Cricket is a sweet, well-natured puppy who’s already showing how adaptable and eager to learn he is. He’s doing great with crate training, often sleeping through the night, and is making steady progress with potty training. Playful and curious, he enjoys toys but also loves relaxing close to his people. He’s very food-motivated, which makes training easy—he’s already learning commands like “sit” and responding well to guidance. Cricket thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where he gets plenty of attention. He’s also interested in other dogs. Like most puppies, he’s teething and needs supervision, but overall he’s a smart, affectionate pup who will make a wonderful companion with continued training and care. ##2715433##

Story
Lux was born July 2017. I adopted him when he was 4 months old. He's good with kids and new people. He's such a lover and loves butt scratch's. He's house trained loves to go on car rides and does well at the dogs parks too. His one downfall is the guy loves the trash. For whatever reason anytime he gets his chance he will rummage through the trash. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Unfortunately I've had a schedule change and I am not home as often as I need to be therefore he has been acting up for attention and it's just not fair to him. He has a brother and a sisters he's more bonded to his sister, but I think would do fine if separated.

Story
Howie is 3 years old he is house trained. He does okay with other dogs if properly introduced. He has two other dogs he's lived with his entire life. Him and my other male dog have got into food altercations. But as long as he is feed separate no issues have been present. He's good with kids, tends to need extra time to warm up to males as he's only been a female.. because of the cattle dog in him when he gets excited or needs attention he nips at butts, never has harmed anyone while doing it. He loves to be outside and run often times will fight me to come inside. Rehoming due to my a new schedule change. I'm not home as often and it's not fair to my dogs to be home alone as much as they have been.

Roky will thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not, as he enjoys companionship and does best with regular interaction throughout the day.As a young dog, Roky is still learning about the world and would greatly benefit from positive reinforcement training to help him build good manners and confidence. He’s eager, motivated, and smart—perfect for a family excited to guide him as he grows. If you’re looking for a playful companion and are ready to invest time, love, and training, Roky could be the perfect match.
