Hi! I'm Osa! I'm a really happy go lucky, fun and active little girl. I'm about 3.5 months old now and 17 pounds. I enjoy meeting new people (and giving them kisses) and like being around other dogs as well! I'm very smart so I will be fun to train! In the last 2 weeks in my foster home I've learned to use the dog door, go up and down stairs, sleep in a crate, potty outside (most of the time), and am working on sitting for cookies! I'm looking for a fun and active home that will continue my training and socialization, is it you? I also love to cuddle with my foster bro. He likes to play a lot so I play with him but when I’m left to be, I just hang. I am potty trained and walk well on a leash. I get along great with other dogs and love people. I am a little afraid of new things I haven’t seen before like a garbage truck, but after a little comfort and a few times of seeing it, I’m just fine! I’m also crate trained. Hey there!  My name is Clementine but my foster endearingly calls me "lefty" because I do spins to the left.  I am the SWEETEST gal you will ever meet.  I will always greet you with tail wags and kisses and every time I see you will be like the first time.  I am blind in one eye and have partial vision in my left eye which we think is why I spin to the left. It helps me orient myself in spaces.  Despite my accident, I'm your typical puppy and I am 100% trainable and extremely smart! I eat my food and drink my water in my raised bowl/non tip so I don't knock it over.  I play with my favorite foster brother and chase him around or wrestle with him.  I walk on my leash well too!  I am very respectful of the other dogs in my foster home who don't want to play with me and take their corrections well.  I know sit like a pro, I'm working on stay, and "off" when all fours should be on the floor, and go right into my kennel when asked.  I am very food motivated! I love to be pet and cuddled and will snuggle up to the humans or my foster brother.  I love playing with my toys like any puppy does! I sleep in my kennel at night without a peep and make very little noise when I'm up in the morning and wait patiently to be let out.  I use the dog door and I am potty trained! I am such a sweet girl and know my perfect family is out there!   My forever home should have a yard for me to run around in, and humans who are home most of the time, long periods in a kennel are just not the best for me.  I would love if my forever home had another dog who loves to play, I promise to help tire us both out! This sweet, beautiful girl is Ogallala but everyone calls her Olga. She came to Soul Dog in 2021 fearful and feral. Over the past year in her current foster home, she has gradually blossomed from spending all her time cowering in the corner to spending most of her time lying relaxed in the corner. Olga is very fearful, but also very sweet and gentle. Her instinct is to get away, avoid detection, and be left alone. For the first several months in her current foster home, Olga hid in her selected corner and only snuck around at night to eat. She is not housebroken and has selected a spot in the house where she feels safe going potty. After several months in the house, she started to feel comfortable enough to look out the windows, and then even venture outside onto the balcony. As she has gotten comfortable and gained confidence, she has begun to show affection, as well as a bit of a playful, rambunctious side. She will occasionally join the family on the sofa and will even solicit attention once in a while. She hit a big milestone a couple months ago when she started barking at people from the window and balcony instead of hiding from them. (We are now working on stopping that behavior.) Although she has gained a lot of confidence, Olga still has a lot of fears and triggers. She is terrified of people and loud sounds, and anything that sounds like banging. The sounds of roofers or even kids playing basketball will send her running. She is a master escape artist and bolts when she gets scared, so you will need to be careful and vigilant and have a solid fence. She will go to her next home with a GPS collar just in case. She has come a long way over the past year with her foster and is starting to learn that some people and places aren't so bad. She needs a kind and understanding person to give her the patience, quiet, time, and love that she desperately needs.
