Meet Neo – Gentle, Calm and Easy Some dogs come into your life and immediately feel like they've always belonged. Neo is that kind of dog. This gorgeous black and white Border Collie mix is approximately 3–4 years old and has the perfect combination of intelligence, devotion, and an easygoing personality. She doesn't need to be the center of attention—she's simply happiest being by your side, quietly enjoying life with her people. Neo is an absolute dream on leash walks. ‍ She walks calmly and politely, making her the perfect partner for neighborhood strolls, morning walks, or exploring new neighborhoods together. She isn't a dog who drags you down the street or makes every walk a workout—she's happy to walk alongside you and take in the world at your pace. Her off-leash skills are just as impressive! Neo has excellent recall and truly wants to stay connected with her people. She is attentive, eager to please, and checks in with you because being near you is exactly where she wants to be. Neo's gentle nature extends to everyone she meets. She is wonderful with adults, kids, and dogs of all sizes. Whether she's meeting a tiny pup or a big canine friend, she approaches life with kindness and confidence. She has that special ability to make everyone feel comfortable around her. Rocky has lived in Boulder with his people for 10 years, since being adopted as a puppy. Sadly his parents have both gone into care and can no longer look after him. Rocky has up to date vaccinations, loves long walks and swims and is happy in the car. He gets separation anxiety and sometimes nips ankles due to his herding instinct. He gets along with neutered adult dogs but should not be loose around puppies or children. He is in need of an experienced dog owner who will help him lose 15 lbs and enjoy his final years. Rocky knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. Please contact chloekannan@gmail.com if you are interested in rehoming Rocky. July 28, 2026, 9:29 pm

Story
River is a very special boy! He was a foster fail 2 years ago, when he was six months old. He is playful, goofy, and very loving, but also quite skittish and is likely a one-person dog.River has a bite history on people and dogs. Most of his bites have only resulted in bruising and occur in high stress environments where he struggled to regulate back to calm. He gets along excellently and is very submissive to our smaller and older border collie. We do not allow him to interact with any other dogs, though I believe that with time and structured introductions he would do well.We are rehoming River because after 2 years, he still has not warmed up to my husband and can be a challenge in our home.River needs medication daily to remain calm and needs someone who has a yard (walks are overstimulating) and someone who can commit to training him to improve calm behaviors and develop confidence. He also has a history of back pain and is touch-sensitive. He has improved with age.

Neko is such a handsome boy! He enjoys interacting with other dogs but chased the kitty in his previous home. He's been mostly outdoors so will need time to adjust to his new indoor lifestyle. He is an insecure boy and will benefit from gentle social support as he integrates into your family. At this time, Neko will only be rehomed to a family without children or with kids at least 10 years of age. Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 45.8 Age: 8yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
Kitsune, Kit, Kitsue, Mr, was rescued from Humane Colorado back in early 2020. He is 7 years old, is still incredibly active, has no health issues, immaculate teeth, and is incredibly loyal. His best traits: ● Big personality ● Never destroys things ● Can be left alone all day ● Will never leave your side ● Great hiker, camper, roadtripper ● Generally fine with other dogs Why I need to rehome him: ● He does not like certain people and has nipped them (specifically men) ● He does not like children, we have a baby on the way ● He is not good with groups Typical traits for a heeler, but Kitsue gets very stressed in certain situations. Kitsue would love a single or couple that are lowkey at home but active outdoors and willing to take the time to earn his trust.
