Rylee is a beautiful young Schnauzer/Border Collie mix with a gentle temperament, playful spirit, and a deep love for snuggling. She enjoys playing with other dogs, loves toys and enrichment games, and balances her energy well with calm, affectionate moments. She is working on potty training and improving with consistency, and she’s beginning to learn basic commands like “sit.” Rylee is also still gaining confidence with leash walking and car rides. She would thrive in a loving home that can provide structure, continued training, and plenty of affection. Story
Poppet is a thoughtful, intelligent Schnauzer/Border Collie mix puppy with a calm, independent nature and a silly playful side, too. This scruffy little darling loves toys, enjoys chasing a ball, and is incredibly smart—quickly figuring out enrichment puzzles and games lighting fast. She has learned “sit,” and is currently working on “shake” and “lay down.” Unlike her more attention-demanding pups, Poppet is content to relax on her own (often perched on the back of the couch like the queen she is) and doesn’t require constant interaction. She forms gentle, meaningful connections with her hoomans, bonds strongly, and brings a peaceful presence to her environment. She is crate trained, sleeps through the night without accidents, and is doing FABULOUSLY with her potty training. Poppet would do best in a home with older, calmer children and a balance of activity and downtime. (Did we mention that she LOVES car rides, and is beyond perfect in her co-pilot capabilities?) She could thrive as your one and only or with a respectful canine companion. If you’re looking for a calm, intelligent, quietly special companion, Poppet is your girl. 💜 *** Go to www.pawsitiverestorations.com to learn all about our dogs, watch their silly videos, read our adoption process, and to submit an adoption application. Story
Meet 5yr old Jerry! No fee, just want him to go to a good home! Border Collie/Cattle dog mix. He is very smart and learns quickly. He is good on walks (gets excited about bunnies but just about past lunging at them). Jerry would not be good in a home with little kids but is fine with cats and goes to daycare and is good with other dogs but should be the only dog in the house, he does not share toys or food. He would love to have a great fenced in area to play, loves hikes and sniffing walks, and nose games in the house. He can take some warming up to new folks but loves his people. A farm or somewhere with land would be great for him. Loves snow, hates fireworks, likes to dip into water but not a swimmer. Ball/fetch obsessed so that needs to be limited to keep healthy joints. Jerry needs someone that can give the time and love into training and attention and he will learn anything you want him to. He a sweet little love bug to his people and will thrive with space and attention!

Story
Name: Carmella Breed: Border Collie Sex: Female Age: 2 year old Weight: 45 lbs. Carmella has some behavioral needs, and she's available for adoption or through a foster-to-adopt arrangement. Good with dogs? Carmella will need a slow introduction to other dogs Good with cats? No Good with kids? Not tested but based on her behavior with meeting new people we would recommend she go to a kid free home. Energy level: High. Carmella is a driven Border Collie with a strong need for mental stimulation. She would thrive in a home where she has a job to do—bonus points if her adopter is interested in helping her learn how to herd! With her high energy and working-dog instincts, Carmella would love nothing more than a purpose-filled life where she can stay active and engaged. Animal Characteristics: Carmella is a beautiful, sensitive soul searching for someone special to help her shine. This shy girl hasn’t had the easiest start, and she’s still learning to trust the world around her. When meeting new people, Carmella can be fearful— but with patience, structure, and love, she begins to open up. Her ideal home will be with an experienced, compassionate adopter committed to continuing her training and providing slow, gentle introductions to new people and situations. Carmella isn’t the kind of dog who will greet you with tail wags and kisses on day one — but if you give her time and understanding, you’ll earn the love of a truly loyal companion. Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at www.pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process. I look forward to meeting you!

Story
Duke is a two year old Australian Shepherd. His breed is affectionately called Aussies. Duke was a puppy and grew up with three girls. He is a good dog and loves running, walks, and hanging out a backyard area. He likes other dogs and our cats. The best home for him would be one that has had other Australian Shepherds before and understands the exercise needs. He was my running partner for the last two years. He is able to get out if able and likes to take himself to a nearby park when he does.

Story
This is Casey, he is 2 yrs old. He's an Australian cattle dog / Siberian husky / supermutt. He is incredibly sweet, smart, and active (his tail never stops moving)! He can be very chill but is always ready for adventure! And his fur is soooo soft! He demands belly rubs (he will flip on his back and wait for them as you walk by) and he loves EVERYONE! He's a very happy dog (his whole butt wiggles when he greets you)! He knows basic commands and is house trained with a dog door but is eager to learn more advanced commands (he's very smart)! He would be great at an agility course! He would love an active family with a big yard and lots of love! Unfortunately, we are moving from a house with a large yard to a townhouse with limited outdoor space and I know he would not be happy in a place without room to roam and roll around in the yard. He's great with kids and dogs but hasn't been around cats, so he would probably need to be introduced to a kitty brother or sister slowly.
