Story
Meet Socks Socks is a gentle, affectionate soul who seems to be experiencing the world all over again — this time with love and comfort. She’s happiest curled up beside her people, taking long naps, and soaking up pets and praise. Once she feels safe, her playful and goofy side starts to shine through, and she’ll reward you with the sweetest smiles. Socks is fully potty trained and has never had an accident in her foster home! She sleeps soundly through the night in her crate with the door closed, even when she can’t see her fosters — as long as she knows they’re nearby. During the day, she’s perfectly comfortable hanging out in her crate if her foster is in the same room and also eats her meals there. However, when left completely alone or if her foster pretends to leave, Socks does become anxious and will start to yelp after some time. She can be successfully crated at night in the same room with a blanket over her crate for comfort, helping her feel safe and secure. Socks is currently working with a trainer to help with her leash reactivity toward other dogs. She can get overstimulated when she sees them on walks, but she’s a quick learner and very food motivated — which makes her a great candidate for continued positive training. Because of her separation anxiety, Socks will thrive in a calm and stable home with someone who works from home or has a flexible schedule. She bonds deeply with her people and simply wants to feel safe and loved. Socks already knows “sit,” is learning “down” and “heel,” and is fully house trained. What she needs most is someone patient and understanding who’s willing to put in the time and love to help her continue building confidence. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will shower you with love and gratitude, Socks might just be your perfect match. ##2550369##

Story
Blue is an incredibly energetic and happy boy. He is a herding breed so he needs a very active lifestyle, OR he needs a job. Now we're not talking accounting or anything sedentary, he needs a job herding, or an adventure safety buddy job where he can hike with you and keep bears away. Or something. Regardless, he's a good boy and he was rehomed through no fault of his own, they just had to move...life happens. He's currently in a foster home and does well with all of their doggies! We are unsure about cats. He has also been socialized with children in his previous life.  If you are interested in meeting Blue, please fill out the application! All adoptions include age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, deworming.  Located in Delta CO

Story
My name is Summer and I haven’t met a person or another dog that I don’t love. My foster mom tells me I’m a good girl all the time because I do my business outside and mostly listen when she gives me commands. I’m still trying to remember to slow down when we walk together but that’s a tough one because I’m just so happy to outside. I love to play fetch, frisbee, and chase outside. I’m a great hiking partner and then I’m up for a great cuddle session.  I will do best in an active house where I have a yard to play in or with someone who is committed to take me on walks. I also get to go to the dog park to get out some energy. My foster mom says the song, ain’t nothin gonna break my stride, is always playing in my head. No one can rain on my parade. I’m excited to meet you and find my forever home. ##2554687##

Story
Meet Koolaide! She's the sweetest, goofy lady looking for her family. Koolaide's list of favorite things include playing fetch, eating ice, and making friends. She loves to join in on neighborhood walks and hikes. Koolaide loves spending time outside and can entertain herself for hours with a soccer ball or herding ball!  We haven't spent much time around water, but when we have Koolaide gets the zoomies every time so she could be a great water dog! She does great with the other dogs in her foster home but can get overwhelmed with more energetic dogs. She does great calmly passing other dogs in public. Her go to move to instigate play is to keep rolling over until the other dog shows interest! Koolaide is a smart gal, and learned how to "sit" in her first training session! She is content during the work day and sleeps while her foster works from home.  After work, she's happy to play in the backyard and curl up on the couch. Koolaide is a great size at 27 lbs, where she's big enough to join in for long hikes but small enough to only take up half a couch cushion! Koolaide isn't sound sensitive and has no reaction to thunder storms! She doesn't even react when the neighbor dogs bark at her. She also doesn't mind getting her nails trimmed or being handled at the vet. She's looking for a home that will indulge her love of fetch and snuggling as she embraces her child free puppy years! She could happily live with other dogs or as an only dog with people that are home often. RezDawg doesn't place dogs over 1 year old in homes with kids under 12 years old, but Koolaide has been very respectful of ask older kids she's met.  ##2406892##
